Our stay at the Friendly Hostel was fantastic. Gary was immediately helpful and attentive when he picked me and my girlfriend up from the bus station. Hostel: The hostel itself is nice and set up in a unique way -- the place is divided into separate units with a few rooms sharing their own bathroom, living room and kitchen. It made the hostel feel like home, and gave you a chance to get to know the people staying around you better. I really liked the lay out. Staff: The staff is nice and hel.
όλα τα σχόλια » Spotlessly clean units each having shared facilities. Good accessibility to esplanade and trips to Fraser Island and Whale Watching. Gary was extremely helpful in giving us advice and booking our trips for us. I'd booked a female dorm but had 2 guys placed in with me. I rang management and straight away I was put in a dorm on my own with a massive bed for the rest of my stay. Awesome customer service and staff!. Everything ... comfort, privacy, cleanliness, proximity to perfect esplanade ... I so appreciated the bike provided at no charge - perfect area for cycling - very friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed everything about my stay. Gary was extremely helpful and friendly - other guests were friendly - and I wish I could have bought the King size bed home with me lol. Everything: the kindness of the personal was over the top: they pick us up from the bus station and they even drove us to our rental car location when we left. Friendly staff, free wifi, nice accomodation. Really feels like home. Bathroom shared with only 3 more rooms, big kitchen - we loved it there. Very good atmosphere, Gary was really helpfull. Had something of a homy feel to it. Free bicycle hire was really nice for exploring the city. Lovely place if you on your own or with someone lovely people who own the place they have made it very homly. Free bike hire is great for getting around Rooms are grouped into self- sufficient units, very social. The friendly Hostel is a nice place. The owner was waiting till we arrive quite late. Cute ambient. Free transfer to/from bus depot, free WiFi, free pushbikes. The place is really laid back. Large room, comfortable bed, kitchen facilities, free wifi. Very lovely place and nice people. Free parking and wifi. the rooms and units free&fast wifi nice people. It was nice hostel. I can't believe that price. close to all shops and beach, cheap free wifi. was a self contained apartment so was a nice change from a dorm. good size kitchen and living room. about 10/15 min walk from the beach. owner was very pleasant and helpful. I just wish we had known that the hostel had such good deals on accommodation/tour packages before we booked through an online company. Maybe make this a big headline on the letsbookhotel.com profile or something to draw attention to it. Having to leave such a comfortable bed!. Wooden floorboards makes it awfully noisy when guests have shoes/boots on in the common areas. Bit far from center. Nothing. No complaints. Nothing really. Curfew was not adhered to, large group of travellers from different units gathered in our kitchen and were quite noisy until after midnight. We had a 6am start and did not appreciate the noise!. Only one bathroom for too many people in our unit. The kitchen clearly lacks from equipment. was quite far away from the shops, walking back with groceries was not fun. check out wasnt until 10 however cleaners were in our room from 8.30 and they actually told two other girls that they would have to get out so they could clean. on 2 occassions, strangers were invited to look round or apartment, we thought this was a bit strange. we had to clean all the cutlery on the 1st night as they were abit grubby.
