Newly renovated so rooms were modern, fresh, spotless. Nothing out of place and room are large. Service was great. We were down there for a Wedding so an early check-in was required. As the room was available they were happy to provide it 3 hours before normal check in time. The extra service reflected the room - faultless !! Well Done Trappers. We got a special on a king deluxe room. The bed was comfortable, room was very spacious, bathroom huge and the best shower I've ever had. We only stayed the one night but would have been very comfortable there for a week. Staff were very friendly also. Had a great stay.

Very convenient stopover for our Melbourne/ Sydney/ Melbourne trips. The room was spacious, clean, light-filled, all amenities required. Extremely comfortable bed, lovely, spacious, clean & bright ensuite - modern white. I was able to book in short notice and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Had been refurbished so everything was new. Nice big room and bathroom. Bed was best I have slept in!! Close to the best bakery. The location, friendly staff, excellent restaurant prices , would stay here everytime on the way through to sydney. Not having to leave the motel for drinks and dinner Can't wait for the renovations are complete. Very comfy after 7 hour drive. Staff very helpful and renovations look great. Will return again. Rooms were neat and tidy a lot of room, my partner and I run motels and couldn't fault anything. Very clean and modern. Lots of blankets. Considering distance from town several dining choices. Everything about the accomodation, location and especially the meals provided by room service. Convenient location and easy access. Onsite restaurant has a good menu at reasonable prices. Friendly, helpful staff Good parking Lovely Room Fresh milk for tea & coffee. Great bed and good to see double sheet covers rather then tired old bedspreads. Less than an hour away from the Southern Highlands without the high prices. Love the new décor & upgrade. Look forward to completion. SIze of the room was enormous! Great spa! Very comfortable. The shower. The bed was soft. Due to it being so close to the highway, we were able to get on the road quickly the next morning. Was quite pleasant stay overall however we were only there one night,. Cleanliness of the room, the breakfast was lovely as was the service. The room was comfortable. Great location. The pillows and bed were comfy. Location for my purpose. The Spa. The mattress. Pillows were so new and fluffy, they were very high for sleeping !! Maybe a few more heads on it, it will flatten over time. Beds were a little soft. I think the normal room price was a bit pricey but we paid $144 (special offer) the night we stayed which I thought was very reasonable for what we got. Would have preferred more effective heating in our room. Nothing to dislike. Pool was out of action. No towel rails at this stage but we are told they are coming. Due to newness of reno the fumes were very smelly in the room- leading to asthma attack-we needed to leave windows open all night- lucky lots of blankets. Im sure fumes will settle in time. The noisy trucks. Could be more generous in the bathroom - only 1 facecloth & handtowel (2 would be better), I believe you are getting hooks or similar to hang towels which will be good and maybe some body lotion to go woth the shampoo & conditioner. Smell of fresh paint - as the rooms were being refurbished. Internet wasn't working. Still need to continue airing rooms to eliminate glue smell. Lighting - need dimmer switches. Disappointed pool was out of order in the morning. The meal at the restaurant was the worst we have ever eaten!! Our steaks were off and the dinner made us both sick for days afterwards!!!! Seriously need a new chef. Nothing. Too soft bed. Nothing. No spa in room like we booked Pool was very dirty New carpet in room smelled bad and caused headaches. No towel rack in the bathroom. The room was very cold on arrival. Perhaps heating could be turned on once the booking is made - or if an arrival time was asked for and given by phone/web. Miscommunication from website regards a one dollar breakfast. Power failure. Out of the hotels control. The receptionist on arrival was rude for no reason..Also we had a disabled room, would of been great if we were in a wheel chair, it made the bathroom basin very low and the shower very open we didn't like it. Only thing was their Internet wasn't working was one reason why we stayed there. The new showers are badly positioned and water goes all over the floor.There is nowhere to hang your towels in the bathroom.Pool was not operating and we were not informed beforehand.Staff compensated by arranging breakfast which was appreciated. The pool was out of order. The laundry was not able to be accessed properly due to work going on in that area. Due to the renovation works, there were areas around the apartment which were not finished such as the spouting, paint on the ground and walls- looked messy. Toilet seat was not attached properly. No fire alarm which was probably good due to the kitchen area being a part of the main lounge area. Breakfast..scrambles eggs tasted like powered egg.husbands poached eggs ,neither of us enjoyed breakfast. absolutely terrible king bed & quality of pillows, especially when we booked the more up market room. the bed was hard with dips & saggy areas. Both my husband & I were bitterly disappointed with the quality of sleeping accommodation for the high price we paid. There was a wedding on the guests next door partied until four am outside our room ,knocking on our door ..not good form..its unlikely we will stay again. The pool was advertised as heated and it was not. The picture on the website showed an open fire place but it was not lit and it was the middle of winter this was a selling point for our choice of accommodation we were quite disappointed. My booking was not available/ booked. had to make a fuss to get my room. 1.The squeaking bathroom door - must surely have woken the neighbours as well as each other. 2. It would have been nice to sit out on the verandah in the afternoon sun - but no seating. 3. King size room - may be nice to have a microwave & crockery/cutlery.
