The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The apartment was spacious and furnished decently. The location is very convenient to the city- 1km walk to SouthBank Parklands and 2km walk into the city. -

The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived till the moment we departed. Design and elegance of rooms and Hotel. Everything has been thought of down to bathroom lighting at night. Clean Eygyptian cotton white hygenically washed bed linen instead of re used bedspread expected for 5 star. Fabulous decor, wonderful attentive staff, 24 hour service, great location so close to excellent shops and restaurant and relaxing roof top pool. Value for money.

We arrived late after an extremely long journey from the uk and were
immediately greeted warmly. We were told all about our room. The bed was
extremely comfortable and we slept well. The bath/wetroom was
absolutely ideal for my wife who is disabled. It was quiet even though

We had a fabulous stay and cannot fault the accommodation and
facilities. A couple of things that were a stand out was the standard of
our room - modern, comfy and clean and the location - pretty much
walking distance to everything. Southbank is just amazing! -

The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had
the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa
Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min
walk. Being right in the cbd was great and we enjoyed our evening views
over the street. Being on the 9th floor meant we were far enough aw

The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

The location made it really easy for me to walk to most places I had in mind to visit. The City, Gallery of Modern Art and Foetitude Valley. The night view of the city lights was spectacular and a lovely spot to enjoy a quiet cuppa at the end of a long day. Having the Aquatic Centre just across the road was great too. Our stay was enjoyable. The staff in all areas of the Hotel were very obliging and helpful. We were both impressed with the level of service we received, this made us feel welcome. And would not consider staying anywhere else next time we return to Brisbane -

Room looked basic from decor perspective but had facilities over &
above what I expected (tea & coffee, mini fridge, iron & board).
Everything worked & room v v clean. Asked for "high &
quiet" room which I got. Arrived an hour early & was offered
alternative room as opposed to original room booked which wasn't
quite ready.

Amazing for the price. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the negative reviews but this place is a gem. Cheap and right in the heart of the city. The room was small but perfect for a single. Air conditioning, TV, kettle, fridge, wardrobe, iron, ensuite and quiet. I've paid twice this for a comparable room in a comparable location. No hesitation in recommending and will definitely stay here again. -
I read lots of very negative on-line reviews about this hotel; so upon arrival, I was apprehensive. But I was surprised - location was perfect for the price I pay. Service was good and my room, towel and linen were clean. I would recommend this hotel again to any solo traveller especially ones on business trips. I wouldn't recommend it to a family on long holiday trips as size of standard room is small.

Close to airport - clean and more then adequate for overnight stay.
Staff was very friendly, other customers where chatting and having a great time in the common room, so the atmosphere also felt good. With access to the internet and a printer it made it easy to complete my online checkin for my plane flight the next day. Ensuite, TV and climate control. Plenty of parking, and I noted a airpot shuttle was also available.

Friendly staff, willing to help poor Canadains who had never been toAustralia before. They were great. Thank you. - Proximity to the airport and other locations I neede to travel to. I was impressed with the way the reception staff handled an obnoxious client.
