The Bangalow Guest House is a 15-minute drive from Byron Bay and 20 minutes from Ballina Byron Airport. The boutique shops and cafes of Bangalow town centre are 5 minutes’ walk away.

As we stayed 4 nights we liked the ability to access the kitchen for light bring in snacks, cutlery glasses etc. A newspaper service would be good. Leave out basics for those wanting to leave early am. We know the area, enjoyed our stay and will return if still operating.
Wide shady verandah with welcoming comfortable furniture.
Delicious breakfasts - a different meal each day.
Use of the shared kitchen facilities.
Position only a few minutes stroll to The cafes and shops of Bangalow.

Great friendly reception, lovely room well decorated with a fantastic ensuite.
Excellent homecooked breakfast on veranda overlooking beautiful gardens and creek.
Easy parking and a short stroll to shops and restaurants.
We were made to feel at home with full run of the house. Freshly baked cake with tea or coffee on arrival and a special breakfast. The setting was complete.
Everything about the place, the town of Bangalow, shopping, food, close enough to Byron Bay. The guesthouse and staff were just great. Could not fault.

Relaxed atmosphere.
Globes were not replaced in bedside lamps. No bench to place requisites in bathroom.
No mirror over basin. We only used air conditioning a few times but suspect in middle of summer that it could be quite hot. We accessed from rear street as we felt exit on corner dangerous.
Not much to not like!.
Very limited Austar channels.
Nothing.
Bed was not comfortable as you could feel the springs. My husband and I
occupied one room and a family group occupied the other three rooms.
They took over communal areas and closed doors that meant that we were
prevented from using those areas. Also, their children were very noisy
and at 5:30am started banging not only their room doors but the front
door. The manager should have spoken to the family about their lack of
consideration for other guests.
Was a little noisy.
Noisy, on a main road and I was at the front of the property close to the road.
Also, would be beneficial to advise when booking that a surcharge applies when paying with Amex and that the payment is transacted prior to day of arrival.
Lastly, would also be beneficial to advise on booking confirmation correct name of business to prevent transaction being placed in dispute with banking institute.
