EVERYTHING! The place does not look amazing from the outside but my was it a delight upon entrance and seeing the garden. The room was so clean and the water features with the little gold fish was fantastic. my stay was enjoyable because the staff care, exceptionally clean/ comfortable rooms with tea/coffee facilities, safe in room, free parking, unlimited free wifi, free use of laundry room. a relaxed feel in communal areas. 5 mins walk to train station,10 mins to central sydney opera house, darling harbor, circular quay. honest and friendly staff.

Friendly and efficient staff. My late check-in from the airport was pleasantly and conveniently organised for entry and key pick-up!
We were also walked through by Joanne after we arrived for our second stay to be shown easier access from outdoors to lower ground. Rooms were good and clean with coffee/tea facilities which provided our good start

The lady on reception was friendly and welcoming and we appreciated her knowledgeable of the area. The lodge has a lovely character, was very clean, up to date in design and comfortable. Its also central to the uni, a lively pocket of wonderful little restaurants and general shopping.

The staff were very friendly. We requested for an early check in time which they made it happen. They took care of the taxi rental reservation on the way back to the airport the next day. They even tried to put us as far form the pub as possible. There is a bistro down stairs so food was no problem. The next door pharmacy, grocery store is a plus

We stayed at the Sands because it was close to the airport. It was lovely to be able to stroll down to the beach and watch the surfers before getting our flight.

Reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Great location and the underground parking was really convenient, as I was lucky to get a spot before they filled up. -

Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Very affordable if you are looking for a no frills cheap room. There was no closet, small fridge or ironing in the room. The latter is available in the laundry room. Is surrounded by fast food outlets and close enough to drive to the city and shopping centers. -

Great customer service - I appreciated the phone call before I arrived
and that I was asked if I wanted a room with a view. It was lovely to
look out and see the lights of Sydney. Fabulous location right near
ferry and I enjoyed the lovely Thai restaurant 100m down the road and
