The Grand Central Kitchen . The family atmosphere within the co- residents. The walking City tour of adelaide was superb ( every sat mor 930 am free of cost).Many more options to visit nearby town yga=ha stay for 2nts + Free bicycle hire in Adelaide + Friday morning pancake treat from yha Room size was big (pvt room with bathroom) and had an extra bed beneath the queen sized bed, which could be pulled out and used for our 7 years old child. Anna- the Manager- was our super-women when she manged.

For solo travellers, this place is good for meeting people because of the common area and events like pizza night and pancake breakfasts For those who don't have any plans, the accommodation can assist with tour bookings that are affordable. Before arrival I was contacted by staff to confirm the reservation of the room and of the car-park. Nice, clean, affordable accommodation in the heat of Adelaide. Staff were friendly & helpful. Grood location, just 5 minutes walking from the coach station and from the city center! The hostel is new, very clean and with good service! Nice atmosphere! One of the best hostel I've ever been!. 3 of us got private room with share bathroom. found nice staff comfortable staying during 3 nights clean very value for $$ will recommend and will definitely go back. Well managed(Clean, well functioning bedroom, shower, kitchen), spacious everywhere,Activities(Fringe show, walking tour etc.), chance to meet fellow travellers. YHA was affordable and had plenty of room for a group of 3 friends. The beds were comfortable and family room of a good size, as was the bathroom. Shared bathrooms were clean. Large kitchen. No noise at night. Bedroom was comfortable. Excellent hostel best we have stayed in. This really good for back pack who are travel without any plan. Despite 2 special requests and a confirmation too, our bed was not made up even once during our 4 days stay . no free wifi and tv in the private room. But again understandable for the price. Nothing .. It is perfect. got a room downstairs and close to bathrooms made at the beginning of the nights hard to sleep coz heard people walking es fri and sat nights. None. The area was a little noisy at night outside (fights) but no noise from within hostel. More electrical sockets needed in room!!. Not enough fridge space A bit on the noisy side at times The mattress was comfy but the bedding didn't fit the size of bed (too small) and wasn't comfy The smoking area right outside the common room/dining area and close to the outside of the front door. My stay was goo although the first night was very hot and the men's toilets did smell quite strong it was otherwise very comfortable. Not being able to access the kitchen when I was checking out early though ment I had to leave some food behind. No free WiFi, it felt a bit crowded. It's hard to drop people off and pick them up as there's no drop off and pick up zone. Aircon was of, and it was really hot in Adelaide Still very expensive for a hostel No atmosphere. The room cards stopped working constantly, had to get it changed like 10 times. Nothing. my key card kept failing and had to be reset. No toiletries, and no control over temperature of the room. I had no problems at all!. on my third stay I had a single room shared bathroom,it was very noisy,the room overlooked the street,was above the office and next to the tv room so there was noise on three sides,drunks in the strret telephones from below and tv and chatter from next door. the lack of salt and oil in the kitchen. "Roommate" was all over the place. The way some of your guests abuse the facilities by not doing their bit to keep the facilities cleqn and tidy for the other guests as well as the staff who have to clean up after them. Room facilities too simple. No TV in my room and more expensive than previous hotel.l. We were in a very sparse double room which was near the common room. Can be a bit loud at night, but it is a back packers so as long as you're up for that that's fine! Room was definitely overpriced for what you get. A Budget hotel is a better deal.
