what a beautiful house!
I stayed there for 2 days with my wife. The owner was very kind and gave us useful information to do activities in the El Calapate. moreover room is perfect, especially large, clean and gorgeous. also the kichen located in my room was very convinence and useful. we cooked our dishes and had a nice time. -

She helped us to organize a day trip to Glacier,mini ice trekking is recommended. Breakfast was okay with selection of bread,cheese,ham,yogurt drink,cereal etc. -
Best hotel we stayed in during our 2 months in Ar. Modern apt style rooms with lots of space to spread out.
Owners were very friendly & helpful. Their daughter was also very Good with English & booked our tours made lunches and got us to the airport with ease.
Grounds were pretty & immaculate

Accommodation was more than adequate. We were sharing with daughter and son-in-law and we were pleased with the space and equipment (except kitchen equipment - see below). The staff can not speak English, but he is willing to be helpful, a nice person. The hotel have a very good facilities, including a small chicken.

The owner and staff were very friendly. And always willing to give you a
lot of information. The interior of the hosteria is very cosy and the
rooms are spacious and clean. There is also garden. It is approx. 5
minutes by foot to the center. -

Located very close to the bus terminal and the town. Staffs (Mother and the son) were very very helpful and flexible with the payment, check in/ check out time and so on. One day we had to leave at 5:30am, breakfast starts at 6am but they left coffee and breakfast for us. Also on the day we left, shuttle service came one hour earlier than schedule

New owners since May 2013. Making it a warm welcoming place. We stayed 4 nights. Superfriendly, English and Spanish speaking. Very helpfull, especially Ramiro who helped us with everything we asked and more, even with our bustickets to ibera! Nice big comfortable rooms, clean with comfy beds, great breakfast. Close to busstation and one block from main street. We warmly recommend this place! One of the best places we stayed at in Argentina!

Friendly staff, lovely rooms with two levels that gave a great feeling of space, strong internet, professional and clean. We would recommend it. It is also the last hotel out of town for any of the trips which saves you an hour of waiting in a coach while it picks up other tourists. -

Excellent place. It is really a “boutique” hosteria, similar to an upscale American (not British) B&B. The location and scenery from your room is breathtaking. The rooms are big and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious but the biggest standout for me was the two owners. Two people so passionate about looking after their guests. They were soo helpful and lovely. They gave us great advice on tours, booked it for us even lent us some hiking boots!! They were so selfless they even suggested we go to El Chelten which although meant we didnt stay more nights with them, meant we got to

Very much liked the hospitality of Analia and Adrian who were supporting us in organizing and recommending trips around El Calafate. Very friendly and lovely people!
The breakfast was really good and served individually and was rich on coffee, juice, bread, ...

The Alto Verde Hosteria was a great small hotel, located about a 10 minute walk from the center of town. The staff there were wonderful and extremely helpful, even packing our breakfast to go each morning because we were going on early tours. Highly recommend this hotel.
