  The hotel surprised me in a positive way. One day before our arrival, I received an email from the staff asking what time we would arrive and placing himself at the disposal.   I loved the staff so much. They went above and beyond what staff do, even at upscale boutique hotels. They were personable and attentive, and just plain nice people. The owner was on hand and cared about your experience. The senior suite with outdoor soaking tub is also heaven.
