Hotel was clean. Great English speaking staff. Modern new facilities. My
wife is very picky. She loved the place. Comparable to Hilton or
Sheraton but on smaller scale. Close to shopping and cathedral.

Very nice and tidy rooms, very helpfull staff,
Good breakfast with lots of fresh fruits homemade jelly's and different type's of bread. they also serve a good coffee.
i would strongly recommand the hotel if you are going to stay in the surrouding of San Isidro. -

Good breakfast, receptionists, with one exception, helpful, rooms at
back (relatively quiet). Relaxing outside area by pool. Basic self-
catering facilities (a ring, small fridge, cutlery plates etc) allowed a
couple of cheap snack lunches and the odd take-away. -

Our room, number 5, was very confortable and spacious. Large closet.
The staff is helpful and efficient. A relative came to visit, we stayed
in the sofa in the groud floor for a couple of hours and they offered
us some coffee (free!). The neighbourhood is great, and the street is
not noisy. -

The staff went out of their way to make my stay fun. They gave good
restaurant tips and helped me book other travels . They spoke good
English , I speak little Spanish . The pool was small but refreshing
after a full day of walking in the heat! -

It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time. Stayed here for four nights and liked this French run hotel. there was a mini bar and a safe with large flat screen cable TV. Loved the friendly efficient and knowledgable staff.
