We loved this hotel!! Highlights for us were the valuable local knowledge the staff provided (especially Victoria), the bed and size of the room, the rooftop pool (this seems to be a rare treat at BA hotels), and lastly the best meal we had the entire trip was at the HG restaurant underneath the hotel. We only have great things to say of this hotel and would definitely return if we are ever again in BA. We also found the fierro blog Insidebuenosaires.com full of the best advise for things to do

Plenty of living area for relaxing as bed was upstairs in loft area.Great rooftrop swimming pool and jacuzzi. Local restaurants on doorstepare excellent value. Easy to get taxi into centre. Once we moved to Hotel Suites and Lofts 1 (the loft-one of the twohotels), the staff was very helpful, the hotel very clean and the valuefor money good. Especially the staff needs mentioning here. However,this does not apply to Hollywood Suites and Lofts 2 (the suites-tower)!!!!

It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time. My reservation at letsbookhotel.com was never received by the hotel. If I

Great location around Recoleta. Very close to many tourist attractions such as the Recoleta Cemetery and Teatro Colon. Friendly staff, most spoke English very well. Breakfast was minimal but enjoyable because there were no time constraints. I highly recommend a restaurant down the street called 'Cumana'-- try the locro! -

It´s in the middle of the major tourist attractions and if you´re up to some walking you hardly ever have to reach for a taxi.
