  Basic but nice accomodation. Very close to Bryce canyon. Small wooden houses (but no cottages), placed on the end of nice "forbiden" village. It is possible to visit local evening show/live country music in area of hotel.   Everything. Very nice lobby. Friendly and helpful young man took care of us at check-in. Rooms were spotless and comfortable with inside entry into the room ( that is - doors were more secure with no outside access to the parking area more like a hotel than a motel) it was very quiet- set back away from the road- didn't hear a sound from the outsi... was die leute sagen » de or inside. I dont know how old this place is but it seems as though it was just finished. Everything appeared new. If you are going to visit bryce - Tropic is a small town with a few hotels, restaurants and a general store on the way to or from Bryce NP. So you can't expect too much. Don't be put off by the exterior of the accommodation block, the rooms are relatively spacious and modern, clean and have all of the facilities you would expect. If Tropic is a convenient stopping place on your travels, then we would recommend this hotel.
