  Friendly and efficient staff, quick check-in (and a couple of hours earlier than scheduled time), nice breakfast, quiet and comfortable room, nice toiletery products in the bathroom, great proximity to Union Square and public transport, great value for money. I also really liked the many tributes in the hallways to US servicemen. - The hotel has a lovely feel to it - pleasant staff on arrival; comfortable rooms; well positioned for an easy stroll into town and access to all amenities. A free daily happy hour from 4pm to 6pm was a very welcome unexpected bonus. As the name of the hotel might suggest there are strong links to the military and as a visitor from the UK it was pleasing to see the level of respect that is shown.

  Trotz der Lage zu einer viel befahrenen Straße ist das Hotel ruhig (gute Schallisolierung). Unser Zimmer lag zum Hof und hatte einen schönen Blick auf die Skyline von SF. Das Zimmer ist sauber, Frühstück ist gut und das Hotel hat eine schöne stillvolle Atmosphäre. Getränke, Gebäck und Früchte liegen immer im Aufenthaltsraum bereit. Sehr nettes zuv... was die leute sagen » orkommendes Personal. - The building itself: built in the late 1800s and completely refurbished but in keeping with its age plus all the mod cons. Great breakfast everyday plus snacks to come home to. Very convenient public transport outside the door. - This hotel was a great find! Quiet and very charming. Upgraded but keeps the Victorian atmosphere. Took taxi to downtown.
