  The resort was close to a beach access. It had stockpiles of children's beach toys - buckets and spades etc. It had a pool and a sunbathing area overlooking a beautiful marina. It was about 200 yards from a Publix supermarket which was really first class. It was also close to a variety of other shops and entertainment venues over about a mile.   We stayed at Shoreline Island Result last year and again this year. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and the accommodations were very clean. We mostly enjoy the fact that it is for adults only and therefore it was very peaceful and relaxing.   The Algiers is our favorite place to stay as a couple for a quick beach night. It is clean, well-appointed, and has a casual, laid-back feel. The people who stay there are respectful and quiet; we have never ever had a problem there. Very clean, very tasteful décor, and you basically get 4 rooms (bathroom, mini-kitchen with granite countertop, bedroom and living room) in the space of a regular hotel room.   I loved this hotel ... we wanted a beach front hotel for a good price. My husband thought it would be a dive hotel because we apid 119 + tax for a saturday night . bUT..WHEN We got there ..omg ,, wonderful .. the staff was great ...location was right on the beach ...grocery store acrossthe street , liquor/ restaurants . pERFECT . the restaurant on... was die leute sagen » location was great as well.. Several reviews have said this place is "retro" or out-dated which is not true at all. The lobby is just brightly colored as are the rooms - like the rest of St. Pete Beach - since the town has a coastal / art deco design. Honestly, this hotel really should be rated higher as it's great... Perfect beach access for a reasonable price, quiet and peaceful. I would stay again but next time longer!
