  Fantastic, safe location just a few short minutes by foot to Times Square and in the centre of Restaurant Row - in-house restaurant was great too and we had a few meals there - including room service. Did not request an early check in but arrived following overnight flight and were accommodated immediately. The decor and facilities were excellent and despite having a room overlooking 46th St noise was not an issue and it was a nice view to look out upon opening the curtains in Oct sun in NY.   Location is genius in the heart of Times Square, The open bus tour starts just in front of the hotel, We were in a Premium King Suite in the 25th floor and the view was very nice, Staff (House Keeping, reception & concierge) were extremely friendly and efficient, the suite was ready for the whole family consisting of 4 persons, I have 14 &... was die leute sagen » 8 years kids who stayed in the sofa bed and it was acceptable for them, Please don't forget to get the free Special Cookies from the reception any ti - we enjoyed very much staying at the hotel: the suite was very comfortable and its size is not typical to ny hotels - much bigger. the staff was super friendly and helpful (Alex & David!!!) and helped solving personal issues regarding our trip in the most efficient way. The welcome greeting with the cookies was lovely and so the ice-cream and cookies treat on 4th july. the location is great, the view from the upper floors is dreamy - and yes - we will come back to the double tree hilton-time

  The position is simply perfect to visit Manhattan, very close to Times Sq., the 5th Av., the theater distr. and a couple of strategic subway stations. The hotel has nothing special, but really has everithing you need: clean, confortable, nice staff, gym, lounge with printer and pc and complimentarey (and good) coffee, free wifi, complimentary wate... was die leute sagen » r... We went as tourist for a long week-end and were complitely satisfied, but I would also consider this hotel for business trip. - Location was excellent... On 51st St. between 5th and 6th Ave. Right across from Radio City Musical Hall, and the Rockefeller Plaza/Center, plus the Subway station was around the corner. The room was a bit small, but comfortable enough for 3 (2 adults & one kid). The small fridge and microwave were a plus! The lobby is small compare to other big hotels, but it was quiet. The staff was always nice and helpful. I will stay there again!
