  The location is great. Right by the water and in a 'real' part of the island. Don't take any notice of reviews that say the neighbourhood is unsafe. It is a working area and there are fishermen with gear etc. It's real!! Staff at the resort are very helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed. Good to have the pool, canoes and snorkelling gear available... was die leute sagen » . Breakfast is fine too, fruit, cereal and waffles etc. OK, this is not Honolulu, but that's why we chose it... quiet, away from the main drag... if - It was only a 5-10min walk to the Seven Eleven, and Mike’s Hulu Chicken truck and a grocery store where you can also buy alochol and foods. The room had hot plates and a microwave and kitchen. So that was more than fine. The scenery was just magnificent. The water and beautiful rich green mountains with mist. I loved the fact that it was so far away from Wakiki. (Too busy for me). My studio room was enormous and my bed was very comfortable.

  Location and price. Accommodations were ok. Not fancy but comfortable. Room large, bath tiny,mattress comfortable, tv new. Staff very nice. Across from abc store and room had fridge so didn't have to go out for expensive breakfasts. Restaurant "in" hotel had a delicious salad. Safe to walk at night. The pictures online did not do the hotel justice. I originally did not pick because it looked somewhat shady but when I arrived to HNL and saw what it looked like. I booked a reservation.

  We were celebrating my father's 70 birthday and the whole family was at the Marriott (10 of us). We had 4 rooms between us at the Marriott. The rooms were so big spacious and partial ocean view was amazing. We had missed our flight leaving Hawaii and needed to check back in (we needed 4 rooms) and the staff (Tania) was amazing extremely helpful ... was die leute sagen » and understanding. She assisted us and managed to give us an upgrade at the rate that we had initially paid for. We were so appreciative for that. T - We only had one problem-we did ask them to havea a look at our fridge as it froze all our contents and it took them a week and a half of our stay to do anything about it. maybe they didn't understand us ,we had to tell them like 4 times until they replaced it. Everything in fridge had to be thrown out.

  I thought Rhisa, who checked me in was a wonderful concierge who helped me with all my inquiries and had bell hop take all my treasures up to my room! Davey, the IT person helped me get my Wi-Fi set very quickly! The room I had was in the far side of the main building where it was quite and no problems with getting around. Merry Christmas! - I was concerned about the property after reading reviews & was pleasantly pleased with everything about the hotel. Noise was not an issue as so many reviewers said. But it is a city so there will be some. We closed our windows at night & slept well. Great location. Buses out front. IHop across the street. Staff went out of their way to help whenever approached. I would stay here again.

Conveniently located. outstanding beach and view.Great for shopping I particularly love the rocking chair on the balcony and the stores , Martin Mcarthure, Vivien Westwood. - The hotel was beautiful, loved the history and the rocking chairs on the porch.   Concierge was awesome, live music very good, coffee lady was so sweet, cleaning staff was nice and friendly, bartender and drinks at Mac 24/7 were great. - We liked the quite room and the hotel service. The MAC/24 served top of the line meals. The view from our 36 floor Ocean View balcony was terrific.

  The hotel is extremely beautiful, in an amazing location, perfectly maintained, and the service was impeccable. A friend had recommended staying in the original building. Service was excellent - very friendly, polite and attentive (and continued this way after my stay when I left my sunglasses behind).   i liked being close to the shops and the beach - Yes - Waikiki is not really my favourite kind of place, but this hotel was excellent as a place to stop for a night close to the airport (30 mins and 9 dollar transfer on shuttle)

  When we arrived at approx 7.30am and found out check in wasn't until 3pm, we couldn't have been treated better, they told us to head up to the full buffet breakfast and to enjoy all of it on them, they gave us pool towels so we could use the pool or head to waikiki beach, they looked after all our luggage,and although we had to wait to almost 3pm ... was die leute sagen » for our room it was definitely worth the wait, our room was on the top floor with a absolutely fantastic view. Couldn't fault the customer service we - We stayed in an ocean view suite on the 21st floor. We actually had a view of the ocean and the mountains from our room which was really nice. The rooms were updated and very clean and the staff was very helpful. The location was convenient to everything!!! We were a block away from the beach, and the Beach walk shopping area was right downstairs from the hotel. There was plenty to do in the area and we did not need a car. I would definitely stay here again.
