A bit too much "work" going on in lobby and out front
throughout the stay - I know such must occur, but perhaps some small
discount/accomodation is in order for those who endure it. Still not
too big a deal for me, but something to think about. Also disappointed
as a gold member that letsbookhotel.com had a cheaper rate than through the
Hilton Honors website - did not understand that

We came from a cruise and it was Madi Gras weekend so the city was more than crowded. The minute we walked into the lobby we were made to feel at home. Great location outside the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter in
the pretty Garden District. The hotel is on the parade routes for Mardi
Gras and St. Patricks Day. The entire staff was great, from the front
desk to the valet and cleaning staff. They were all very pleasant -
Great decor, great comfort, divinely comfortable beds, very clean, sound-proof, excellent breakfast, easy parking, friendly staff. Good location in garden district, on the trolley line and near Magazine street but a car is reommended if you are going to the Quarter or Marigny.
