  This is a nicely decorated hotel with updated facilities and very comfortable bedding. Well appointed, richly decorated, compact rooms. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. They were able to answer all my questions and give me the lay of the land, so to speak.   I loved the vibe of the hotel and the fact that it is a boutique hotel. The check in staff were very accommodating and I love the green apple touch. I helped myself to one every day. We were fascinated to hear his account of hurricane Katrina, the education system and overall economy in New Orleans. In addition he supplied us - I loved this hotel! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend. I use to live in New Orleans, but this was my husband's first visit and we had a blast. The staff is very attentive and they even left a special gift in our room once they found out it was my birthday! Great location & Great modern hotel!

We also loved that breakfast and was served Monday each morning, and dinner was served Monday thru Thursday for free, with very good hot and enjoyable meals.
