  Contrary to many critics I found the hotel very quiet and clean. The staff were so helpful, and they treated all of the guests so well.   I liked the location of our room, toward the back. I liked the comfort of the beds. I also liked the flat-screen TV. - Reasonably priced, good location for what I was looking for, free and good breakfast selection.

  The room was spacious, everything was clean and shiny, there was a fridge and a microwave in the room. The location is very convenient, on the main road, a huge store nearby for groceries, buses to/from SF, San Jose, airport etc. Very close (~10 m.) by foot to the Caltrain station. The free shuttle to Stanford University (called Marguerite; operat... was die leute sagen » ed by Stanford) has a stop right next to the hotel. There's even a pool, although I didn't use it. - The staff was really nice and helpful. The small swim pool courtyard was cute and felt comfortable sitting out there eating meals. There is the beautiful Stanford Mall right down the road less than a mile, and a Safeway store right next door, so you can get something to eat very easily.The location was easy to get on and off the freeways and to and from Stanford University where we were heading most the time.
