  There is no negative thing i would mention. The room was new and clean. Breakfest ok. Really good position of the hotel is just perfect (about 10min to the Town Hall)! The park place is small but all the guests found a place while we were there. And finally yes, there are some homeless people arround the hotel, but we didn´t feel uncomfortable or... was die leute sagen » unsafety at all. We would recommend this hotel mainly for young people and travellers. - Close to our destination - walking distance. The staff was very helpful. Gave us walking instructions to our intended destination. Also pointed out alternate transportation solutions and approximate costs.

  This is my second stay in less than 6 months. You can't beat the price and the location. There is a parking garage right next door with super overnight rates. The Muni bus stop is right in front of the hotel. You're a couple of blocks from Union Square. This is a budget hotel so don't expect "Five Star Hilton Accomodations". There is a new digital flat screen TV plus a refrig - It was a no frills hotel but comfortable for the most part. The shower was great - roomy, plenty of hot water. Central location adjacent to parking lot, a few blocks from BART. The fridge worked well. Never tried the microwave.

  The location is good, the neightboorhood is really quiet and safe and there is some small places to grab something to eat... close to lombard street which is reall close to the fisherman wharf and its easy to catch the buses from there... the place is clean and really confy.. we were not expecting much because of the price..but once we got there w... was die leute sagen » e were amazed, cuz the room was really nice and look really fancy actually, cable and wifi were good and the personal was really helpfull. - It looks a bit run down on the outside, but inside the rooms have been renovated and are very nice indeed: meticulously clean, very comfortable. There was a fridge and a microwave in ours, very handy. Spotless bathroom. Free (ample) parking in SF is invaluable. Location is very good too, just a very short walk off the lively Union street, convenient for buses... Overall, definitely recommended, we'll stay there again if we're ever in the area.

  Everything was excellent! I have stayed in hotels price much higher that were no where near as nice as this one! It wasn't a luxury hotel of course, but as a home base for a city trip I couldn't ask for more. This is a funky old art deco style motor hotel that is maintained to accommodate budget travelers-don't expect valet parking, or luxury amenities, but do enjoy the no frills quick check in, working ice/pop machines, in room coffee, and cable tv. And they have smoking rooms if you are so inclined.

  A good and convenient hotel to stay in while you are in San-Francisco. 20-25 minutes from Airport by taxi (~45-50$). This hotel doesn't have shuttles. It was easy access to the street, and I love this area of San Francisco. Close to Palace of Fine Arts, the Marina and shopping on Chestnut St. If the price is as competitive next year as this year when I visit San Francisco, I will definitely stay there.
