We liked the hotel. It was in a good location if you are visiting the city. The Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late at night and had a problem with checkin. We enjoyed our stay at the Chicago Renaissance Hotel a great deal. The staff were congenial and respectful, appearing very invested in meeting our needs. We loved the attention to details such as, the lovely aroma that enveloped us when we walked into the lobby. Our comfortable room on the 21st floor, gave us a view of Lake Michigan, the Chicago River, State Street and nearby skyscrapers. We would definitely stay there again.

We are a Family Of 4 and enjoyed the city location. We live in
Pennsylvania since 6 years back, origin from Sweden and travel
frequently globally. The hotel is perfect for shopping, museums and a
vast variety of restaurants just around the corner! 5 min from the
Magnificent Mile, 15 min to the Navy Pier and 20 min walking to Shedd
Aquarium. But to the Science Museum we (adults) felt the kids-pressure
and took a taxi. A 15 min drive. Don't miss a Segway tour (13 and

immaculate with jaw dropping views of the Chicago river and the
intriguing Chicago skyline! Hotel staff were very friendly and well
spoken. The food from the hotels' restaurant Hoytes was finger
lickin good! The location is the best, easy walk to Mag mile, millennium
park and even to the field museum and aquarium. And great places to eat

Worked with us and got us a great upgrade with river view with only a
$14 fee. He was helpful and energetic. The room although small had
amenities not found in any other Chicago Hotels I have stayed in.

Everything! This place was a truly pleasant surprise. I booked the
smaller room, which was just perfect for 1 person. I loved the 2nd floor
club area, with tons of seating, office type space and a fantastic
espresso/cappuccino machine. Oddly, my favorite perk was the bottled
water available on each floor. Staff were incredibly helpful. I also
appreciated the automated check out process from machines in the lobby.
Will def. Stay here again, next time in Chicago.

The room was spacious. The staff graciously moved us to another floor when ours became noisy because of high schoolers that were there for some music competition. The breakfast bar was wonderful. Lots of good food, hot and cold and plenty of seating.We also liked seeing the skyline from out 12th floor window.
