comfortable, clean, relaxing, the rooms were well decorated. I was very happy with our room. We wanted something affordable & close to the airport; this was both. Plus, we had a free shuttle to the airport as well. Another perk, restaurants on site. However, we didn't leave our room. Room service was superb! The food was great quality

Upon arrival,check in staff were extremely efficient and friendly.
Receiving an unexpected warm chocolate chip cookie was a nice thought.
Nothing was too much trouble and when I requested a late check out due

My good report today was based upon a previous stay there several years ago. I am specially commending Candlewood Suites Chicago today for waiving my cancellation charges. I booked the hotel one day in advance of a planned trip to Chicago which was cancelled due to a snowstorm.

The rooms were clean with a modern upgrade. Quiet area, very close to airport, and close enough to go downtown with out the hassle of downtown. All the amenity of home. Full size fridge, 2 top stove, microwave. Free wifi. Best place to stay. I would stay again on my next trip.

Price was excellent, plenty of room for my wife and I and our 2 children, pets are allowed, and there was a shuttle to the airport, 20 minute ride. Small buffet breakfast was free. Desk manager was very helpful. Hotel looks like it was once a premier place, now a little threadbare, but still a pleasant stay. -
