Set in a large Victorian house with a beautiful mature garden, Annesdale House offers rooms with a private entrance, a patio and an iPod dock. Underfloor heating features in each private bathroom. Fresh ingredients and, where possible, locally sourced produce are served in the breakfasts.
With garden views, all rooms also have free Wi-Fi access, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and pure cotton linens. Guests can also make use of the hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and mini fridge in each room. All bathrooms have both a bath and a shower.
Full English breakfasts can be enjoyed on the patio, in the room, or in Annesdale’s the traditionally furnished dining room.
Scenic walking routes through the surrounding hills begin just outside of the property. Located in Windermere town centre, the rail station is a 5-minute walk away. The banks of Lake Windermere are just 1 mile from this bed and breakfast.

Annesdale is close to the train station and an easy walk to shops and restaurants in Windermere. The hosts of Annesdale are very friendly. We appreciated that they gave us (and our luggage) a ride to the train station. The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed our own sitting room and garden complete with a table to enjoy a quiet time outside.
We really liked having our own private entrance to the suite as we could come and go as we pleased. The suite was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and gave us advice on places of interest etc. The breakfasts were excellent!. alle bewertungen »
Friendly atmosphere, having your own entrance to building and the freedom to come and go as you please.

We had a very worm, kind welcome from Alena and Roger, they definitely make you fell home, the place was amazing, wish the visit was in spring, for sure my wife and I will be back.
The bed and breakfast was really well situated for access to windermere and the lakes. The room, facilities and the hosts were also superb. I would highly recomend the annesdale.
Loved the homely feel had a room with our own private entrance and terrace. As there only two rooms we felt and were treated as part of the family. A great experience.
Beautiful house and our room was modern and very comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was large and a joy to use. 2 minutes walk and we were in the village center.

Wonderful place to stay in Windermere. Definitely go back again!
非常好,很喜欢,房间很大,洗手间更大,从很漂亮的花园直接进入房间。虽然我们住的时候有点冷,正值下雪。但是下次去湖区一定还会住这里的。.
Friendly hosts and fantastic bathroom. Beautiful gardens and excellent location. Breakfast exceeded expectations.
Peaceful, Private, very comfortable, very clean, excellent food, Alena and Roger were very hospitable.

everything.
Loved the actuall room looking out on a lovely garden. Very nice space. Private entrance.
Nothing to dislike.
Small issues with the free wifi (signal strength was poor in our room).
nothing to dislike.
Couldn't get ipod dock to work and internet not working in rooms.
Nothing.
There was nothing to dislike about ig.
We had difficulty initially in finding it so road front signage could be better.
nothing.
The house is right on a very busy main road. While you can't hear it whilst inside downstairs in the rooms, it is not a great location to recreate from, and the drone of heavy traffic pervades the garden.
Breakfast was a little like being in your grandmother's dining room.
Windemere itself is nothing to write home about. I'd avoid it for a smaller village in the lake district.
