The hotel was very nice and in a good spot for our break. My mother is 96yrs and so being in the town was ideal for shops and getting to relatives by bus and taxi. WE found the hotel good , clean and comfortable and were not preasured to leave the room until we were ready. The breakfasts were superdelishious , filling and varied, we didn`t leave anything no waste.Evening meals need more veggie options with a protien ie.qorn or tofu.Overall will do it again if possible.x.
alle bewertungen » The welcome and booking in. We arrived and were dealt with very professionally. Nothing could be too much trouble for the young lady. Very impressed with the room and facilities. It was new and very nice. It was situated across the street from shops and restaurants and next to the river. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The staff were soo welcoming and really helpful. The room having two small kids was just perfect and the bed was soo comfortable. I didn't want to live. Great location - v near train station. Friendly and helpful staff - especially the bar manager Facilities in excellent condition. Whilst the breakfast reception was good and all explained we were then forgotten. After 20 minutes I had to ask for service. Bed was too soft. We wanted to visit in the bar with some family we had not seen in years and we were told we had to leave that it was closed. We didn't need service, just wanted a place to talk. Nothing to complain about it was perfect. Automated check in - bit of a faff but the member of staff on duty helped me through the process. Staff kept asking me if i was enjoying my breakfast, up to 6 different staff in the space of less than 30mins, would have enjoyed it more uninterupted. Nothing. Couldn't open a window in the hotel room. Apart from being a bit understaffed in the restaurant, there was nothing else wrong with hotel stay. Nothing. breakfast was the worst i have ever had when i did tell the waitress she said i will tell the chef,beans were cold ,scrambled eggs were cold and badly cooked and the tomatoes wasnt cooked. Pretty basic Brewers Fare. I was in a room that could accomadate disabilites and so there was no bath - just a shower. the room was also adjoining another - i could hear voices quite clearly in the moring through the door. breakfast was so so! next time I won't book for it!. Car parking not good.£8.00.a day. 7 days would be £56.00. Lots of other hotels give parking free. I was in Walsall. Parking - payment needed. Toilet seat too small, toilet paper in sheets not rolls, window sealed so no fresh air.
