Was die Leute sagen
The staff really were some of the most friendly I have ever experienced. They were also very professional (i.e. not overbearing). I also really loved the fact that they were accomodating to our requests at breakfast i.e. we wanted yoghurt instead of milk -- that made it feel much more personal. I got the impression everyone was really proud and happy to work there. Also I LOVED the fact that Terry brought us (as a young couple there for my girlfriend's birthday) two glasses of champagne with st. alle bewertungen »
I actually booked in a colleague who was very impressed by the hotel. Apparantly the bed was the most comfortable he has slept in for a long time. Only downside to mention is that it is not very suitable for someone who has difficulty with stairs as to get to the rooms there a a number of narrow flights. Overall however he was very happy to be staying at the hotel. Food was good and staff very friendly.
Had a great one night stay. Staff were really friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in the door. Room was clean, quiet and nicely furnished. Bed was super comfy and bathroom spacious. We ate in the bistro restaurant on the ground floor and had a great meal. Staff very friendly and didn't hassle us etc. wood highly recommend this hotel. Looking forward to stating again soon.
We loved this hotel, it was decorated nicely and very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent, right on a lovely pedestrian shopping road which had a lovely market on Sunday morning.
Breakfast was also really nice, looks like the food there in the evening would be good too.
Everywhere was spotless - dazzling white bed linen and fluffy white towels. The staff were extremely friendly and thoughtful even coming to the car park to carry my case to the hotel. It was lovely being on the Pantiles and looking down on the weekend market. I hope to stay again.
I knew this hotel many years ago and it has been transformed by its present owner and excellent staff. The food is top quality, service superb, rooms comfortable and a little quirky, beds excellent, room service excellent, decoration and ambience really is top quality.
Decoration, design feel, colour schemes, character, consistency of feel,
comfy bed and lovely duvet, pillows. Nice bathroom, good quality
furnishings, everything had been thought through & even pictures on
wall pleasant not usual rubbish! Very pleasant staff.
Great place right in the middle of a great town. Great restaurant and rooms are not huge but comfortable. Restaurant full of locals for dinner and lunch.
Parisien style hotel with informal check in.Stylish and welcoming decor.
Helpful staff. Comfortable bed.Excellent location in middle of The Pantiles.
Convenient for wedding venue, free parking, central Tunbridge Wells location, friendly and helpful staff. Super bathroom and towels.
The staff were really friendly and cared about us enjoying our stay. I would definitely stay there again. The food was great too.
The professionalism of the staff was superb.
The quality of service and of the hotel itself was impressive!
The value for money.
Excellent town centre. Lovely staff, great bed, lashings of hot water, excellent continental breakfast. Will stay again.
Location excellent.
The honeymoon suite is AMAZING!
Phenomenal Wifi throughout. The best i have found in ANY hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff, in particular the general manager.
Good location in relation to town centre.
Very cosy and clean. Close the to high street all walking distance. Highly recommend the honeymoon suite.
Excellent, attentive but unobtrusive staff. Very clean and comfortable. Stylish and in a great location.
For any minor failings the staff more than make up for it.
I can only recommend this hotel due to them.

Rooms very good and compact, very warm needs AC facility, staff very helpful.

Unconvential approach and organisation.
Great location, young friendly & efficient staff, really comfortable bed.
Closeness to town centre & Pantiles.Service & cuisine was very good.
Tastefully decorated with a hint of luxury in the bedrooms. Helpful staff.

The staff without exception were courteous, friendly and helpful.
Location, quirkiness of decor, downstairs bistro, spacious room.
The decor, the food,the ambience.
Nice bed good bathroom.
Great city location.
Very nice service.
Location, staff.
The staff were excellent and made me feel welcome from the time that I arrived, until the morning of my departure. The food is probably the best that I have had in any hotel.Breakfast was served by friendly staff.
It was hot weather, our room was warm, we asked for a fan which was supplied with not fuss and made a big difference as we were not able to have the window open. The bathroom was very well appointed.
Friendly helpful staff. Nice decor. Good breakfast -served, which is nice these days instead of buffet.
Bathroom small but nice fittings.
Staff. Bedroom/bathroom design.
Nice bathroom, lovely shower.
Nice bathrooms,comfortable bed.
Too many flights to get up to bedrooms.
Nothing really.
Nothing to criticise except it was a bit hot, our window didn't open but I think that it's probably a listed building so maybe there's not much to be done about that..
I didn't like the long walk from the car but I am disabled and I should have liked tea/coffee facilities in the room but anything I wanted was brought up so no real problem.
Nothing.
No tea/ coffee facilities in room. Reception a bit odd. Parking
& unloading on arrival a bit awkward.
Elevator would have been nice but staff carries your bags up for you.
Shower rather sluggish.
Cold croissant for breakfast, small room (52), limited facilites for hanging up clothes. Would not be very comfortable for a longer stay, but was ok for one night.
Genuinely no dislikes.
Surprised to see no Jack Daniels in the bar!.
A little noisy.
Cheese selection.
slight noise from other rooms.
Too little info in rooms, eg, no room service menu. No bathrobes. Central heating kicking in loudly at 4am. Very minor niggles.
Hotel needs proper reception.
Many floors to negotiate without a lift
No tea making facilities althugh if you ring down they willingly come up with tea/coffee
No tissues in room.
Room small, but ok for an overnighter, not much room for clothes.
No lift up to our room - not a problem for us, but could be for some people.
Lots of stairs but that's what you expect in a building like
this. A little expensive for the facilities but I suppose you pay for
the location.
Too many steep stairs to get to room. Parking on other side of very busy London Road.
Lack of hanging space in room. It had one small open wardrobe.
only the room to hot and no AC I'm sure in the winter months it would be great.
No desk in room
No tea making facilities.
scatter cushions need a clean; smelt sweaty.
Can't think of any.
No Fire Instructions in room! The 67 steps it took to reach bedroom. No tea/coffee facilities. Double bedroom a bit on the small side, no table on both sides.
No loo paper - had to go and find some. No tea and coffee facilities in the room. Only 1 bath towel in the room.
Charged 12.5% service charge for ordering (and taking them to my table myself) two pints of beer.
One barman charged this, the other did'nt?.
Bedside lights! These were, I suppose, eco friendly, coming on brighter with touch but not reliable enough to stay on when main lights off. Instant VERY hot water in basin could be efficient but dangerous.
It would have been helpful to have had a small map showing location of parking ground when booking.
Parking arrangement. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No robes in suite.
No tea coffee kettle in room
No table/shelf to put things on.
No tea or coffee facilities in the rooms.
Very small single rooms.
Lack of storage, breakfast.
Maybe the hotel rooms are a bit tiny, but bed was very comfortable.
It calls itself a hotel, but is in fact a restaurant with rooms with a busy noisy main road at the rear. The room we had was on the side but still very noisy from traffic. The room had no tea/coffee making facility. It has no reception area, it was difficult to find entrance and where to check in as it was the bar of the restaurant.
Lots of stairs-ok for us but might be difficult for some. Lighting a bit erratic-bedside not bright enough for reading and bedside tables rather too small. Not much hanging/cupboard space at all.
Very very very noisy. Kept awake by couple arguing beneath my room. My room suffered also from excessive traffic noise even though the window was tightly closed. Gave up trying to sleep at 3.30 am and left. Toooo NOISY!.
Room was a bit small, no dressing table, I also didn't like the fact that my toast was buttered, I did not like that the breakfast included was limited and not a full English as one would expect and that the price of your included breakfast was not deducted from your then choice........
There was no water coming from the shower, no hair dryer, the rooms were hot. There was a lot of noise.
No tea or coffee available. No glass for water. Tiny rooms, dark. No instructions in rooms re contacting reception. Phoned for ten mins , no reply. Had to walk four floors to bar to just get wifi key. No reception area no lounge. No more than a gastropub with rooms. Very disappointing.
