Was die Leute sagen
we went to watch villa v Norwich as we did last year but apart from the football both times we have found the city to be friendly, full of pubs and restaurants and lots of historic things to see and do including the cathedral, lovely walks along the river, good shopping centre but also lots of boutique shops in little backstreet alleyways - we love it and will always go back. Delias restaurant is a must but only open Friday & sat nights so book in advance. Number 17 is a great place to st. alle bewertungen »
We liked everything about this guesthouse from its location and the no-
nonsense welcome and clear instructions of the owner, to the generous
room size and comfortable bed. Nearby we found a great place to eat
called Last Wine Bar & Restaurant and in the morning back at Number
17 were served perfect Full English and kippers for our breakfasts.
The owners were thoughtful and friendly. The room was tastefully decorated with a view of the lovely courtyard. I really enjoyed the shower and bed was extremely comfortable. The toiletries, tea, coffee and biscuits were high quality. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great choice on offer. I enjoyed my stay here. Thankyou.
Number 17 stands in an excellent location along historic Colegate. The cathedral and the town centre are within easy walking distance. Our room's facilities were modern and uncluttered with a wonderfully large bathroom. The dining room was also modern and welcoming without the fussy aesthetic of some old-fashioned B&Bs.
A really stunning place to stay Absolutely superb room. Owners are really nice. Highly recommend this B & B. would defiantly stay here again. No. 17 is defiantly a real hidden gem and a lovely surprise.
Breakfast was the best we have had anywhere we have stayed. A REAL 11 out of 10.
Very nice, clean and well-maintained. Tasteful modern décor. The rooms were fully equipped and clean - lovely bathroom with good-sized shower, and comfortable beds A friendly welcome, with rooms nicely set out in a courtyard, where there were flowers and seats. Handy parking.
The apartment was finished to the highest possible standards of taste and comfort. The breakfasts were better than the 4-star hotel we stayed at the night before. Hosts have that natural gift of hospitality. Location ideal for walking in City. An outstanding establishment!.
The property is perfectly located on a quiet old street just a few minutes walk into Norwich centre with plenty of parking nearby.
The owners were friendly and helpful and the bedroom was attractively furnished.
Good breakfast choice and well cooked.
Number 17 is a wonderful place to stay tucked away in an interesting part of the city. The accommodation was faultless and the breakfast, beautifully cooked to order, with high quality produce . I will definitely will book here again.
Very pleasantly located and within walking distance to the city centre. Very clean, nice decor. Peaceful, relaxing and would definately stay there again when visiting Norwich. Lovely breakfast, excellant value for money.
Helpful staff who waited for us to arrive and gave us ideas about places to eat. Spacious comfortable family room/suite. Enormous, modern bathroom with walk in shower and bath. Large buffet and cooked breakfast.
Location excellent for experiencing Norwich city centre on foot. Accomodation unique and family run. Breakfast first class. Good value for a city centre location.
Very good small hotel. Great breakfasts. Friendly owners. Excellent location for looking around Norwich. Interesting old building. Free parking permit.
Down to earth, family run business who were very helpful. The accommodation was more than we expected and we were made to feel very welcome.
convenience of location within easy walking distance of town centre. A quiet situation and many thoughtful touches, Very good breakfast.
Very good location, very comfortable en suite room with very pleasant garden/yard outside to sit in on sunny days. Excellent breakfast!.
Free parking arrangements - they went out of their way to make sure I could park nearby without any charge.

quiet street
no fuss

fair price.
Clean and modern decor. Very good breakfast.
Excellent breakfast, comfy bed.
There was nothing we didn't like!.
Didn't listen carefully enough to the instructions given by the
owner and got a ticket for parking in the residents permit area.
I felt the room was smaller than expected, but with the high quality decoration I found this not to be a problem. The window had lovely French shutters opening up to a pretty courtyard view, but at ground level it did feel abit overlooked to enjoy properly. I would have liked a full length mirror in the room. These are minor points, I would recommend staying here.
The king bed was a little creaky. I would have liked a firmer mattress.
Very little to dislike. The rooms were slightly on the small side, but as they were so well-designed and laid out, with plenty of storage, it wasn't a problem.
What was there not to like?.
Nothing really. If you want to stay in the centre of Norwich and dont require the services of a hotel then this is a great option.
Some overnight noise from traffic amplified by narrow streets. (A small price to pay for such an excellent stay in Norwich).
r
Rooms a little cramped for anybody staying more than a couple of nights.
Some difficulty with wifi access (but my laptop is rather basic anyway).
Nothing to complain about!.
internet could be improved.
Bed did creak a little, not terrible and was comfy.
Single room rather small
bathroom very cold.
Nothing - so pleased we found no 17 and will return whenever in Norwich again.
All good !.
Pillows bit cheap.
Room smallish but well organised.
Rooms were a little hot.
The parking instructions were confusing. If you have a window note from the B&B you do not need to pay after 5. You do need to move your car weekdays 8:30 and pay till 5 the next evening if you're staying another night.
Parking.
Room a bit on the small side and much too hot with no obvious way of reducing heating temperature. Old sash windows couldn't be opened. Our room was on the street side of the hotel and was noisy until the small hours with passing party goers on a saturday night.
no air-conditioning.
Pricy.
Welcome could have been better. Some dusty areas in bedroom.
