Didn't serve food in the evenings bus wasn't far to a restaurant.

Friendly welcome, very comfortable and spacious room with a wonderful view. The hotel is very well situated for Glencoe and Ben Nevis.
Whilst there was an excellent selection of fruit, cereals, bread and pastries available for breakfast unfortunately the cooked breakfast was not quite up to the same standard.

The room was beautiful and very spacious, with a stunning view of the loch. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast excellent and the whisky bar a real gem.

The building needs a bit of tlc. Our room had flaking paint and lots of scuff marks and was a bit bare. The rooms with loch views also have some road noise so if you are a very light sleeper opt for the back.

The staff was very helpful. They provided wonderful gluten-free bread for breakfast to meet our dietary restrictions. The view of the river and mountains was fabulous from our room.
There was mold around one of the windows and the paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. Wi-Fi was not available throughout. The double bed was small and not very comfortable. Breakfast was only available from 8-9 which can be a bit early when you are on vacation.

Although the house is wonderful and very well restored we missed a bit of atmosphere. Although the staff is friendly we did miss a real host/ owner that makes you feel welcome during your stay. Compared with other B&B this room was expensive
Friendly welcome great staff comfortable clean room with fabulous view of the loch. Whisky lovers will be in heavan in the comfy bar. Breakfast was very good my husband choose an excellent full cooked and I opted for perfect porridge,tea and toast with good quality extra fruit jam. Would happily stay here again if in the area and would highly recommend creag mhor lodge.

I felt that for a hotel of this quality a small restaurant would be great but we had to walk a mile or so for dinner.
Just loved the friendly ambience - a real gem, Martin and Ken were ever so helpful with a lot of caring advice.

It's one of the best hotels I have ever stayed - good location, HUGE rooms, very nice breakfast. If the WIFI has a stronger signal, it will be perfect.

Whisky and drinks could have been a little cheaper but I am really struggling to find anything wrong at all, so this is a very minor point.
The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were nicely designed with one of the best beds I've ever slept in! We enjoyed a whiskey from the incredibly well stocked bar while sitting in the drawing room overlooking the loch - its old fashioned charm might not suit everyone but we loved it. Breakfast was also very good with a nice but simple selection - they cater for different tastes and indeed I noticed the couple next to us mentioned they were gluten free and the staff bought out an entire breakfast selection just for them. This is the first time I've seen such attentiveness and I was very impressed.
The hotel is quite isolated and has no restaurant so you do have to walk a little way or drive. But you are allowed to bring food back in to the hotel if you wish to. Given that this area is quite remote - and that's why most of us go there, I don't think this is a particular negative.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate at a very good seafood restaurant thanks to the owner who called and made reservations for us. Our room was clean and very attractive.

We knew roughly where we wanted to stop on our driving holiday but couldn't decide on where specifically and we ended up going for this one mainly due to the reviews. I don't think the reviews do this place justice. It's an old lodge which is much bigger than it looks on the website. The reception and lounge are beautiful with amazing views over the river to the mountains that rise out right in front of you. It was a bit similar to being in a Miss Marple or Poirot episode with hight ceilings and traditional decoration. The fire was lit in the evening and we really relaxed with some whiskeys playing board games for a couple of hours. The staff are very well up on whiskey with a huge selection in their bar at reasonable prices. The room was a surprise as it was quite modern although it still retained the original old charm of the building-a perfect combination. The en suite was large with a 2 person shower. The bed was extremely comfortable with high quality bedding. Although there isn't a dinner service here there a couple of options nearby which were suggested at check in. Breakfast was excellent-bright cheery service with a huge amount of options. I think this was probably the best breakfast I've ever eaten on holiday. We only stayed for 1 night but wished we had booked for 2
I wish we'd paid more for a front facing room. The back was lovely and quiet but we missed out on the views

lovely view of the Loch, although unfortunately we were not lucky with the weather.The room was spacious and comfortable bed.All the staff were very welcoming and helpful if we needed anything.Excellent breakfast.It is well located for exploring the west coast.Also enjoyed the whisky bar!
The room we stayed in was a little dark as it was navy blue and although it was well decorated I think it could have been lighter given the rain outside!

We had a lovely room at the front of the house overlooking the water and the hills beyond. Lovely stone manor home with sumptuous lounge and an amazing selection of whisky at the bar! Breakfast was served in a lovely, large dining room with white tablecloths. A good selection of items on the hot breakfast menu plus a cold buffet with the best selection of fruit that we encountered during our entire trip! Room was large, bed was comfortable, bathroom was modern and the shower was terrific! Quiet even though our room was overlooking the highway.
