The Crown Rooms Newmarket - Fotos
Was die Leute sagen
The room was excellent, very clean with a homely comfy feel. The owners were extremely helpful and looked after us perfectly. Would recommend these rooms to anyone visiting Newmarket. The Thai cafe served top end food impeccably served which we are happy to highly recommend to family and
friends. The best Thai food since visiting Thailand.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean and
perfectly fine for the price. The breakfast was great and the food from
the Thai cafe also excellent. The location in Newmarket was excellent.alle bewertungen »
This was one of the cheapest accomodations in Newmarket and well worth
the money. It's well placed, quiet, clean and warm. The thai
restaurant downstairs is v good and for a cheap no frills stay it's
good value.

all of it, no down side whatsoever.
The simple decor and kingsize bed.
Good value late booking.
Staff and room.
The staff at the hotel were excellent. The restaurant was very good if a bit noisy.
The rooms were clean.
Small but comfortable room, contemporary fixtures & fittings.

The staff The bed was very comfortable and clean.
Good value for money, modern decor.
staff very friendly and helpful.
Location and price.
Breakfast was of a good standard. Freshly cooked and hot.
Very warm night but at least their was a fan.
Breakfast was great.
Great location for us as we were visiting friends locally.
Bed was comfortable.
Comfy beds.
There were only a few minor points. The plug in the bathroom sink
didn't work and there was no heating in the bathroom. The big
problem, as with most accomodation in the centre of Newmarket, is the
lack of parking. If you have to park in the public car park expect an
early start as the traffic wardens take no prisoners.
Bathroom grubby dirty vent dirty floor and behind the door shower not
clean enough.
There is no parking readily available and this was a problem for me.
Because of scaffolding outside the window, there were some bits on the floor which haven't been hoovered.
Finding the entrance wasn't the best.
Sink in bathroom very small.
No carparking.
no light on outside door at night to be able to tap in the code to get in.
No parking on site, but close to a multistorey which was reasonably priced. No-one around in morning to check out, went for a short walk before someone arrived to take money for room.
no reception desk.
The smell in our room of cooking oil from the roof extractor above the kitchen (room 5). I had to buy a plug in air freshener. I understood then why there was a fan in our room so we could close the windows.
Room very cramped in the eves. I am sure there are better rooms in the hotel but I can only comment on ours.
the smell of food cooking from the restaurant in the bedroom was very strong.
room a bit small.
Code on door little bit confusing after a few drinks.
it was cold and no heating in the shower room.
It was a bit grubby in the common parts.
Room cold on arrival.
The room was really hot.
Shower, water hot then cold.
The room was very basic bur clean, the bathroom sink was tiny as was the whole bathroom.
Downstairs was undergoing a full on refurb, so there was no restaurant or bar facilities available. Very disruptive, labourer's working until 10pm. This wasn't mentioned during the booking process - if known I would've booked elsewhere.
Room was not fully clean, rubbish in the drawers. Kettle didn't work.
Very confusing when you arrive as to where you check in.
Very basic. No wardrobe facilities. The shower was awful. No shelving in there so nowhere to put anything. Very poor lighting in the bathroom. Not worth the £100 charged.
Quite noisy from restaurant below. Mostly very clean, but one or two things ignored, like a mouldy tooth mug!.
noise outside late at night.
Uneven stairs.
Room was tiny. Bathroom even smaller. As we were up in the Eve's the bathroom smelt of all the cooking smells from restaurant.
Only had a skylight for a window.
I had phoned before we arrived to request that we didnt have a small double, as I had read previous reviews. I was informed that we had a larger room. On arrival, we had not been given a large room. The room was too small for a double. It could not fit a bedside table both sides of the bed.
One tea bag each for the morning, which considering the price is a bit tight.
Booking in staff did not tell us when breakfast times were, so was too early.
No wardrobe.
Shower was very poor.
No heating in bathroom. freezing. shower so terrible we couldn't use it. Smallest tv I've ever seen.
