The room was large, clean and comfortable. The room faced inwards so we overlooked the glass roof of the pub but there was very little noise so I was happier than it overlooking the town square. The breakfast was good and the coffee was great. All the staff were really helpful especially when we were trying to find parking. It is only about a mile to the racecourse which meant that we could walk and not have all the hassle of a car. If you arriving on a Friday try and get there for mid afternoo. alle bewertungen »
In town square, very close to shops and restaurants. Good atmosphere in hotel bar. Comfortable bed and good facilities.
Good location, easy access from the main road and in the centre of town.
A decent shower with instant hot water.
The Staff were very friendly and very helpful. The manager particularly so.
The bedlinen was white and looked clean. The bathroom looked new and clean.
There was no soap in the dispenser in the bathroom which I didn't discover until I was in the shower. The wires were showing on the towel rail which was a little worrying.
Stayed in annexe in car park, lots of noise up to 3am with people returning to their vehicles.Room door opens directly to outside.
Our room was in an annex on the car park, I found it noisy, both from
traffic noise and people leaving (possibly staff) slamming car doors in
the early hours.
The room was very smelly. The carpet dirty and had not been vacuumed. The tea/coffee facility container was grubby and the milk was off. The bathroom was grubby with paint peeling off the skirting board. The glass shower panel was grubby at the bottom seal. The taps were push button and could not be regulated. The cupboard drawers were bending and distorted.
