This Victorian guest house is 5 minutes’ walk from golden beaches, and boasts views of the Great Orme’s hills. Set 0.5 miles from Llandudno’s centre, The Westdale offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Each bright room has traditional décor and offers free tea and coffee. Some rooms have a TV, DVD player and a private bathroom, whilst others share bathroom facilities. The Westdale is next to the coastline and hills of the Great Orme, which has beautiful walks. Llandudno Rail Station is 0.7 miles’ walk from the hotel, passing restaurants and bars on the way. There is a fully licensed bar, and breakfast is served each morning in the light and airy dining room. Evening meals and packed lunches are also available.

My wife and I have just come back from a lovely Easter weekend at The Westdale. The host, Lesley was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived, our room was tidy and the breakfast was huge. Breakfast consisted of the full English plus help yourself to cereals, fruit, toast, fruit juice and coffee – all a great start to the day. Our room was a small twin room (all that was left for the weekend) and although we had to share a bathroom, this was not a problem because there were plenty of facilit.
alle bewertungen » Really lovely guesthouse, we stayed in Room 1, which was beautiful and spacious. With a four-poster bed and en suite bathroom. The guesthouse owners were very friendly and made us feel at home. The location was perfect, about 10 minutes from the pier/shops and bars/restaurants, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet at night. Parking was brilliant, lots of space on the street itself, very safe. Its also about a 5 minute walk from the tram ride up to the Great Orme, an amazing day out. The. We stayed in the four poster room which was divine, the bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were spacious clean and homeley. The location was excellent with easy parking and the breakfast was very tasty, thankyou Leslie for a wonderful stay we were made to feel very welcome. Staff very friendly and helpful, clean and comfortable rooms, the breakfast choice was amazing. The location was great and quiet, near to the seaside and a vast choice of restaurants and bar/pubs. It's really near to the Great Orme Tramway!. the owners were most accomodating and helpful the food was very good and there was a very good selection the room and bed were clean and comfortable and if i was in the vicinity again i would definately go back and stay there. We loved the four poster, it was a first for us, the bathroom was very nice owners were very friendly, we could walk to the beachfront, breakfast was great, porridge especially good. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Have stayed at the Westdale several times and it's always my first choice, loved the warm welcome greeted by name at breakfast, love the veggie English breakfast. Missing it already I will be back!. The owners are lovely, pleasant and within easy walking distance of beach, close to bus route and quiet location. Friendly, simple and homely, nicely located between the two promenades with view of the great orme, good value and lovely English breakfast. It is in a good location close to the beach and nightlife but very peaceful. The breakfast was lovely and we were made to feel at home. we stayed here for 4 night's and loved it! staff were very friendly and so helpful. would definitley visit again...well recommended :). All. Gripes – not many but worth considering if Lesley and Simon read this. Our room (No 2) had thin walls adjoining the next room (No 3) and we could hear everything they said and did and they did wake us up in the middle of one night and kept us awake for a while – some insulation in the stud wall would help. Our window did not open so it might be stuffy in summer – worth considering. Nothing at all... Nothing at all. There was nothing we did not like!. Struggled with wifi use, but as only there one night did not bother owners about this - think it could have been easily resolved if we had. Nothing to dislike. From the outside it didn't seem so great place. Twas pretty good to be fair. the radiator in the single room was a bit noisy. Nothing it was great value. Room could have been cleaner. No disabled access. nothing. Could not get tv to work. Did not like canned mushrooms and tomatoes for breakfast. Needs some repairs done. Everything was ok with this B and B . On road parking could be a problem. Very dark entrance and electric lights seemed to be off most of the time especially in the toilet but it did not bother me that much. Internet connection was difficult although owner is aware and tries to help. The doors and windows rattled all night, and the breakfast was cold you weren't told that u had to make your own toast which didn't help having a cooked breakfast, the owner was friendly but could have explained things like if the var was open and about breakfast. Shared bathrooms. Only think wrong shower was cold. poor wifi reception,intermittent. It was pretty basic. The shared bathroom was very busy in the morning. Reception area very tired and unwelcoming - too dark and needs facelift badly. Four poster bed is not a good idea - room too small for this and very dark - not helped by dark maroon and gold décor ( depressing). Seagulls screaming all night long. Beds a bit too hard for our liking. bedding was a bit grubby didnt like being put in the attic as we are pensions. shower temp varied considerably state of decoration. the decor was shabby and very poor, paper hanging off walls, smell of damp, the photos are very deceiving.
