The Rambler Inn is nestled into the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District. This charming country inn offers en suite accommodation, a bar, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. The Ramblers Inn has excellent accommodation and facilities. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast was top quality and lots for everyone. We had dinner the evening we arrived which I would highly recommend it was good service and the food arrived hot, something I really value. Ideally located in Edale to access the walks onto Kinder scout and the surrounding area. Fantastic location in the heart of the Dales. Close to Castleton, Bakewell and Hathersage. Lovely big clean room, with soooo !!!!!! lovely comfortable large beds. Clean bathroom, good facilities, good food. Helpful staff, especially John in the bar. Thanks for a great stay, would definatley come back.
alle bewertungen » From the second I walked through the door the staff were great and couldn't do enough to help. The food was very good, I can recommend the steak in ale pie. And the breakfast kept us going all day. Excellent value for money and we will stay at The Rambler again. the armchairs in front of the fire. the fact that it was quiet at this time of the year, not empty, just more quiet than the summertime. I felt really at home here. the location and view was beautiful. the room clean and cosy.staff warm and welcoming.food delicious.esp enjoyed the home made jams :-). Full meal service - didn't have to go out to find somewhere for dinner. Food was good. Also plenty of parking available. The scenery was beautiful, the train station nearby was a real bonus and the atmosphere was cosy and relaxing. The location was excellent and the pub was really cosy. We had an evening meal and it lovely. Excellent food and service, wonderful staff, very helpful. we had a brilliant stay. Thank you. No bad points at all, fantastic stay will be back. everything, food, staff, location all excellent. the wonderful views from the rooms. Extremely comfortable beds. Good food well presented and served. Range of information on local area. proximity to Kinder Scout for walking staff friendly. There was nothing that I didn't like. the beds were very soft. I still managed to sleep but usually prefer a firmer mattress!. The shower head was bit difficult and kept falling down.but apart from that I've no complaints. Our room, although very comfortable, was above the kitchen so we heard the door banging constantly once the breakfast session commenced. Nothing!. We had the last available room and it was a twin. Really small - should probably be a single. There was no heating in the small bathroom so not ideal in winter. It was all good. The menu is not reflecting the environment and could offer more obviously local produce. Instead it was very average pub food which fails to inspire. There is no boot/drying room where walkers can leave their wet gear to dry overnight. only thing I could say was the bed was to soft for me but still slept well [probably due to beer]. nothing. Lack of real fires in the fireplaces to enhance the atmosphere. variety of food limited.
