  Helpful staff. There are no laundrettes in Luleå, but the hotel owner arranged for my clothes to be washed in the hotel's washing machine. The hotel only has a limited number of private parking spaces, but the hotel owner provided me with a tourist parking card so that I could park my car for free just outside the hotel door. The location is excellent, just a couple of blocks from the railway station and close to the (very nice) town centr - The staff was so accommodating. She gave me information on a variety of topics, but most importantly, she got me to Råneå where my relatives came from, by making phone calls on my behalf. They also were happy to store my suitcase when I arrived on the 6:30 am train.

  Stayed only one night at Hotell Amber on our way going north. Had a pleasand layover at the Hotel in a really nice room. As our our train was leaving very early, we were told that we can get us a lunch packet 1 hour before breakfast time - perfect! - It's even better than the 4 star hotel I lived in. And on top of all the stuffs are awesome. Considering and very friendly. I will never think abt other hotels if I ever travel back to Lulea - Loved the small library in the hall, excellent tourist books helped me to plan my trip and see beautiful places. I suggest to get more books to cover more regions :-) I arrived late, but it wasn't a problem. Thank you!
