  This is the nicest hotel that I had ever stayed. The rooms are relatively large and it is located neaby the beach, which is walkable distance from this hotel, besides, the stuff members are all kind and did best that they could do.   Me spent 6 nights at Gomez Place and was very happy there. Each room has a safe, AC and fan. Rooms are spacious and clean. The swimming pool is great and there is a nice relaxing eating area. Wonderful design of a court yard, clean rooms and halls, very good service, polite people helped us with everything we needed. They make you feel very welcome. It's not a luxury hotel, but is is very gozy and nice decorated in Sri Lankan style, and not expensive at all.

  This hotel is really good. We arrived at the hotel very late in the night and the hotel staff is still waiting for us at that time. The staff is very nice and arrange the room for us quickly and answer all our demands. I really like t - NYBC is a typical Sri Lankan guesthouse. Deluxe room I stayed at had everything that is necessary - shower (though not always hot), AC (worked well), comfortable bed, nice balcony where breakfast was served. There is parking space and wifi also. Guesthouse is located 2 min walk to the beach and many shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Negombo City is 7 min by tuk ruk (200-250 rupees). Just do not expect luxury/European standards accommodation and you'll certainly have a wonderful stay!
