  We had a wonderful experience at Amya Hills, Kandy. It was our 20th anniversary in Nov 2013. To our pleasant surprise, they decorated the bed with flowers with Happy Anniversary written on bed. Views of the mountains were very good from our room. I recommend this hotel to everyone who would like to have great memories. - Excellent Location (the view is simply stunning). The food (although slightly highly priced) was very tasty and the breakfast spread was scrumptious.I Would strongly recomend this property for famalies with kids and for young couples.One of the best places to detox and enjoy the calm. The staff are friendly and ready to go out of way to help you.

  The location was perfect and the staff was SO accommodating. We asked to move one of the tables out for breakfast by the pool and they instantly did it.   The location was beautiful, set amongst stunning scenary. The rooms were comfortable, with great tv channels for kids, pool was small but adequate, wonderful gesture of a little food treat (ie cup cakes) in the room at night!   We spent two nights at the hotel. The staff were helpful and the service was very good. Basic but clean rooms. The wi-fi was working well in the room. The food is also quite good.   Many reviews don't do this place justice. We found all staff from the owner down mega-helpful & friendly. Our room was extremely comfortable and the whole place spotless. There was occasional building noise from the new rooftop restaurant they're building, which will be spectacular when finished in a couple of months time.
