  We had a wonderful experience at Amya Hills, Kandy. It was our 20th anniversary in Nov 2013. To our pleasant surprise, they decorated the bed with flowers with Happy Anniversary written on bed. The food (although slightly highly priced) was very tasty and the breakfast spread was scrumptious.I Would strongly recomend this property for famalies with kids and for young couples.One of the best places to detox and enjoy the calm. The staff are friendly and ready to go out of way to help you.

  The location was beautiful, set amongst stunning scenary. The rooms were comfortable, with great tv channels for kids, pool was small but adequate, wonderful gesture of a little food treat (ie cup cakes) in the room at night!   We really enjoyed our short stay in the hotel. They were very facilitating and hospitable towards us and assisted us in all ways possible. The staff were the selling point for us. Very professional, friendly and helpfull. There is free wifi in the reception area which was handy. The rooms are very spacious with mountain / valley view. The greatest thing ever was that I told them I'd like to take some cooking lessons in Kandy (but there's none), so their chef made some time in his busy schedule to teach me how to make curry. That was unbelievable. I can't imagine any other hotel being that intimate and friendly. - This is a great hotel if you're on vacation. Everyone is so friendly and go way out of their way to make sure you get the best out of your stay in Kandy.   Clean and well maintained property. The hotel staff made us feel comfortable during our stay. The view from the hotel was amazing. We had nice breakfast with a lot of options to chose.

Mr Ananda is very pleasant & helpful, he provide me with the useful information & help to book train tickets before I arrive in Sri Lanka and he also help to arrange the transportation with a good driver (Hamada).
