  It's a refurbished block of flats turned hotel, classic for Russia. As it happened that I enjoyed the city very much, my over all impressions are pretty good. In fact, except for the modest even by Russian standards breakfast, everything was fine. I would underline the location - walking distance to most city attractions - and the price - 45 Euro ... was die leute sagen » / night is ok for a city with the same over all prices as Moscow. To summarize - a good deal for a short city trip. - The staffs are nice and helpful and speak English. The non-smoking room I stayed was clean, cozy, and comfortable with amenities and free WiFi. The place is 5 min walk to the central station, the ferry terminal, and the aero-express to the airport. It is also 15 min walk to the center of the city. Probably the best hotel I stayed in Russia.
