  Hostal Jose Luis was a great little place to spend a couple of nights in Lima. Miraflores seems to be the place to stay for most tourists, and the area around Kennedy Park is indeed quite a nice little area to while away a day.   We stayed here for one night while on vacation. The hotel is located along a side street from the main boulevard. Next door is a private house (don't ring the wrong doorbell!). It is incredible safe and secure with a gated entrance that requires you to be buzzed in and a doorbell at the front gate. The hotel is tucked away behind the private house... was die leute sagen » . It is encompassed by a beautiful garden area which makes you feel like you just left the city and walked into the jungle. The trees provided a lot o - I loved the service at this hostel - I stayed in the private room for a week, and really could not believe how much I got for the tiny amount of money I paid. The room was cleaned top to bottom every day, I had a fresh towel every day, and the breakfast was simple, but served in a lovely dining room. Fast wifi all over the hostel, a desktop computer for free use, the friendliest cat I have ever met, and best of all - a really kind, helpful staff and owner who really cared about each person havi

  The staff were extremely helpful. Quickly and efficiently, they arranged transportation for my trip the next morning to the mountains. They picked me up late at night (my plane from Quito was late) when I called them from the airport, called the bus company for me first thing in the morning and drove me 45 min. into town to the Cruz del Sur bus te... was die leute sagen » rminal. I would never have been able to make all these arrangements by myself in such short time. The room was basic but very clean. WIFI worked wel - We needed hostel close to airport. So this is really 5 minutes from airport and price is very good if I can compare another Lima's hotels. Was is very clean, comfortable and nice decorated. Hot water all the time and friendly staff. It was our last hostel after 1 month travelling... Among between these better hostal's in Peru. If you don't need acommodation in city center of Miraflores I can recommend it :)

Ricardo was very helpful and helped us to get to Cruz del Sur station to book our bus to Cusco. Very clean and comfortable accomodation.   Our stay in Lima would have been nothing short of average without staying at Mundo albergue. We were welcomed like family, despite our late arrival. The home stay was clean and comfortable but the best thing was the family.   Staff was extremely helpful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The owner even got up at 4am to make sure the taxi arrived before we headed off to the airport. - The housekeeper Mari take really good care of the guests. Already missing her. But all the people of the hotel are very sweet and careful. Its a 10!
