The friendly and helpful staff and our great suite, completely suitable for our needs. Felt safe and secure and looked after, which was just what we needed at this time. -
I like where it is situated. I was cheching in very late and this was sorted out and no worries. The room is serviced while your out, fresh towels etc.

The taxi ride from the airport to the hotel was not a pleasant start to
our stay in Sydney. A $40. ride turned out to be $77., but when arriving
at the hotel the clerk was very nice and friendly and the rooms were

Free shuttle to/from airport. Came very quickly to pick me up from
airport and take me to hotel. Left promptly the next morning to get me
back to airport for very early departure. Driver was very friendly.
Restaurant, which was closed the night I arrived, gave me some cereal
and milk as I was very hungry and it was after 10pm. I would stay there
again if I travel to Auckland. The booking was easy online

I would recommend this hotel.
I needed a good nights rest after coming from London (34 hours travel). It was quiet, clean, comfy, good shower pressure, spacious room, fridge, lift to the floors, plenty of parking.

Very comfortable and ideal for our needs. Room, although small was well designed and had all we needed, very quiet too so excellent soundproofing is in place.
Always smiling friendly staff ever ready to help makes the stay so much more enjoyable.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel/motel, and on both occasions we have been very pleased with the room and the service. The free parking and shuttle to and from the airport is a significant bonus. We'll be staying again in September. Early reviews should be disregarded. The present reality exhibits none of the problems mentioned

I loved the people/staff they were really helpful and friendly although I had a little trouble understanding their accent at times, they really took the stress out of getting to and fro the airport and were very accomodating with parking even though it was in short supply. Also a cot was there all ready for our infant that I had e-mailed and inquired about.

I usually come to Auckland from Sydney for 1-2 night and stay in standard hotel. This time I had to spend 1 week and rented a car so I have tried Bnakside Apartment Hotel. I got a spacious studio apartment with a balcony and security car parking. The complex is in a great location -near the area in Shortland Street that I worked for this period

1) All the necessary kitchen equipment, balcony, clean douche,
comfortable bed are in place
2) great location near the central pier, Queens street, Albert park, shops and restaurants are nearby, though the street itself is very calm
3) staff is very helpful and absolutely "no-problem"-like, not because they are trained well, but because they are just adequate people

No frills accommodation at pocket-friendly price with reasonably close proximity to the Auckland Airport. There is 24hr complimentary shuttle services (30 min interval) to and from Ibis. 3min walk to Countdown Supermarket across the road. Room was clean and functional. For the price, it is value-for-money!
Although the website describes that Ibis is 10 minutes' walk from the Airport, I would not recommend walking there. Simply wait for the shuttle bus at the bus stop near the taxi pick-up point -
The hotel is easily accessed by the free shuttle bus, however late at
night/early mornings this runs only every half hour so we walked
to the airport to catch our 6am flight and it wasn't too far to
walk at all.
Check-in was easy, the staff very attentive and the room clean and sufficient. Nice shower with good water pressure.
There is a fantastic gastro pub downstairs (can't remember the name) with great ambiance and a killer Fijian curry. A large 24 hour supermarket is also across the street
