  The room itself was taken mostly by the bed, but that was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with a large walk-in shower that was very nice and unexpected! Great help at the front desk and availability of coffee and teas nice.   Excellent location, lovely apartment, clean, everything we needed was there. Supermarket, nice eateries/shops close by, also very near to bridge over river to rest of town. Friendly staff on arrival. Staying in an apartment is a good way for a large group with children to stay in a city centre. Parking space for our car (Not advertised when we booked so a great bonus) The location was fantastic for us, just opposite the University (Though again we didn't know this when we booked). Properly stocked kitchen with basic cutlery etc.

  You enter the hotel through the café right on the Vrijthof and welcomed as part of the family. Really appreciated the welcome drink upon arrival after a long day in the car. We had a lovely dinner and lunch and really try their best to make you confortable. Rooms are done with great taste. Parking was really close by and so is the shopping. It is true that there is no el - The staff were very welcoming on our arrival to start our honeymoon. There was a bottle of champagne awaiting us in our room. They accommodated our every needs throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and especially Room 6 overlooking the beautiful square at Christmas. A wonderful experience and we have personally thanked all the staff at the hotel.

  This Hotel is run by Family Rekko located in a quiet district near Helpoort. The elder gentleman (should be the owner) was nice, speaking slow but very clear English. At the first day we were the only two guests, but breakfast still well-prepared with boiled eggs and hot tea/coffee.
