  I liked how welcome we were on arrival the hospitality was very good also the beers and wine provided. Nice touch - Paul is a great guy to work with and the house boat was one of the hi-lights of our trip.

  Iv stayed here three times now and usually have the en suite bedroom on top floor but this time we could not so stayed in the shared facilitied bedroom. this was ok for one night but if staying any longer time I would recommend the ensuite room. but however no problmes with the shared bathroom and our bedroom was clean and tidy and perfect for our... was die leute sagen » one night stay, dave who works there is friendly and helpful. - It was very interesting to leave in a real hause in the centre of Amsterdam.The hosts were very nice and welcoming. In a kitchen it is possible to have breakfast. Very good central location, not far from the main central station andthe centre of the city. The train stop is just near the hause.   My husband and I recently stayed here (May 2013). We loved it. All of it. We would love to visit again. The homeowners are amazing, friendly and very accommodating. The cottage is located on miles and miles of cycling and running trails (my personal paradise). You are in the middle of the country and only a 9km cycle into the center of Amsterdam. ... was die leute sagen » A view out the kitchen window each more morning I could see bunnies, ducks, various types of birds (it’s a bird lovers paradise!) and many other anima - The location is brilliant. 10-12 min drive to the the city or ca. 6-7 min to the Park & Ride. Then you can take a tram and in 10 mins you are at the Central Station. The cottage is tiny but has everything you need in a cool design. The surroundings are very nice with nature and canals. You can sit on the small terrace and enjoy the multitude of birds and the nice canal. The village next door is pretty and has one restaurant (no breakfast!). Everything is just perfect.

  We had a great time at the houseboat. The house is well appointed, the owners are great, and the location is the best. We would often sit out on the deck in the evening with a bottle of wine and watch the locals go putting by in their canal boats. We felt like residents. All you have to do is draw back the curtains or sit on the deck and you can - We were delighted with our stay in the blue houseboat . The location was perfect for what we wanted to do , ie see the Anne Frank house , the Van Gogh exhibition at the hermitage , the Rijks museum , eating out and wandering the shops of the nine street and Jordaan areas . The houseboat itself was very cosy and spotless , just like sn apartement , with all we could need for our stay. Guy was most welcoming and helpful . It was a lovely way to see Amsterdam .
