  We stopped in Taroudant en route to Essaoiura from the desert. As it happened, it was our one cloudy day in two weeks but despite the dank weather we ventured into the Medina city. It's only small, unlike sprawling Marrakech and provides a better reflection of ordinary Moroccan life. The receptionist was very welcoming and - A wonderful Riad with most beautifully and individually decorated and very clean rooms. Based on the very good description and fotos sent by the Riad after booking, it was very easy to find the Riad. All the staff, especially Ben, are very friendly and kind, so we enjoyed our stay very much. Our kids loved the wonderful little pool (which they could use even late at night). We would recommend this Riad to everybody.

  This has got to have been one of the nicest Hotels/Riads I have ever stayed in. At every turn there is some beautiful to look at. A real gem of a place. We were only staying one night sadly and our friends and ourselves booked the two 'tower' rooms with patios which were lovely. The food was great and the breakfast too. Don't be put off when you first drive out to the edge of the palm grove - its worth the drive when you walk inside. - Beautiful riad. We were offered the choice of room given the low bookings that night and chose the top floor room. Beautiful! We arrived late at night and after we warned them, they kindly still served us food, by the pool, with candles, that was wonderful. Then we had to leave very early in the morning and they still prepared a breakfast feast, as if it had been the regular hour. I would highly highly recommend...

  Owner and staff so friendly and willing to help... gave us a tour and let us choose our own room as we were the first to arrive for night, the food were some of the best in all of our stay in Morocco, and the pool area is quite relaxing and clean.   This is my third time at Riad les Chtis D Agadir ( read my previous comments ). Didier still has lots of dirty jokes on his repertoire ( fortunately / unfortunately only in french ). Good rose wine on the terasse. But most of all extremely friendly owners and a real sense of having been in Morocco ( compared to the luxury hotels down by the beach ... was die leute sagen » ). Perfectaly safe and friendly neighbourhood. 1 euro for the taxi down to the beach. - This is our first trip in Morocco and we did not have much idea where to go and what to do. The owner is very informative and willing to help! He booked some accommodations and a car for us and his recommendation were all fantastic. We are very glad that we asked his suggestions.

  We stayed at Dar Qamar to break up a return trip to Marrakech from Merzouga, and we wish we had more time to spend here. The hotel is appears to be down some back street, but what a place it is. Behind the walls is a beautiful pool area and gardens with peacocks. The lounge area was comfortable and there was even some Wifi if you need it. Like many French-run hotels in Morocco you can get wine. - The place is really amazing and beautiful while at first the surroundings and the last 1.5 km might not find your approval (see earlier comments) but this wasn't an issue for us and our stay was very peaceful. A beautiful well maintained garden is surrounding a nice pool area, the amazing patio is inviting to relax, to read, to have a drink.. During our stay the owners (French couple) were absent but the place was well run, good a friendly staff.

  The lady who owns the place is very kind and helpful, we felt very welcome and she gave us great advice on how to enjoy the city. She's also the president of a local association who helps women to work. We felt as part of the local community, as we went to the local hammam and dealt with local carpet and jewel producers. It looks out over the kasbah dwelling as well as the countryside. The room itself was okay. It was a bit dark and the bathroom needs upgrading. Breakfast was superb. We were served a copious amount of food with a variety of breads, pancakes, boiled eggs and yogurt. It was delicious.
