We were well received by the owner once we arrived and were given very detailed description and explanation of the various important sites for our visit in the two days of our stay.   The ryad is absolutely beautiful and a peaceful oasis from the madness of the medina just outside. The staff were wonderful, and the owner was very helpful in giving us advice on enjoying our stay. He organized our pickup and return to the train station and also a side trip we took. The gourmet dinner we had in the ryad was fantastic. - The Ryad Salama is as perfect as it gets, beautiful location, garden with peaceful fountain and gorgeous Moroccan decor, beautifully appointed rooms, amazingly talented and hands on owner who is also a gourmet chef, who made my wife and I the most amazing 5 course dinners each night. We were met at the train station and delivered to the riad quickly and efficiently for a small fee. It's a bit hidden in the medina but after one day it was no problem to fi - The hotel is so spectacular it is difficult to describe. Directly in the Medina (Old City, the oldest Medina in Morocco). It is a former residence of an Imam from the 17th century and could be described as a palace. A rooftop terrace, inner courtyards and gardens, and even a swimming pool in one of the courtyards.
