This was my first time travelling alone to Marrakech and a single female could have been daunting, but, was my favourite trip over! Be smart, get Pascal to arrange the car to collect you from the airport, so you don't get lost in the souks trying to find the riad with luggage, and do practice runs during the day from the square to the riad.   Location is good. We wanted to be next the main square and this Riad is right next to it, just inside the medina. Not so hard to find either, especially if you have google maps on your phone. It's a 2 min easy walk from Jamaa el Fna. From the terrace (wich is amazing by the way) you can hear the noise in jamaa el Fna but in a good way. Inside the riad it's very peaceful. The riad is beatiful, just like the photos, even though the rooms seem a little more luminous in the net (that was not a problem, there was enough light). To find the way to the hostel is a bit tricky the first time but still much easier than hostels or hotels inside the medina. Breakfast is small but ok. Rachid, one of the hosts, can book for you a place in a local Hamman (arabic bath) and, believe us, that expirience is wondeful!!! Rose, Jaume and Vico - It´s very good located in the north of the Medina.The People are Very, very friendly, helpfull and surportive. I appreciate the the great hospitality and genourous atmosphere. It is not a Riad it is a Dar, It is very clean, breakfast is at the roof, if you wish they can also cook for you. Smaller rooms but very tastefull, reasonable prices. I would book it again.
