  I like everything about this hotel. All of the staff was totally outstanding and helpful in every way. Thank you Luis and Patricia. It was very clean and well maintain....everything was spotless. Everything is arranged in a perfect way. Besides nice hotel service he also provided lots of advice and suggestion about the trip around Merida area. He mention that if he is not very busy he could also drive the guest for a day trip near by of course with very reasonable charge.   Merida was our first destination, and this was our first trip to the peninsula. We were not prepared for how run-down and chaotic the city would be. Driving a rental car around, trying to find our hotel and then the parking lot was very confusing and a little bit scary at first. The Dolores Alba is charming and - Near the historic center where you can enjoy a touch of history (able to walk there, but just one block too far to really be in the vivid part). Rooms are very spacious and clean. Breakfast is ok but quite simple, nothing special. Very friendly staff that speaks English very well. Parking lot is definitely a bonus (free and totally private and thus very safe to leave your car).
