  Of all the times I've been to Macau, it was my first time staying at Grand Lapa. I liked the old style charm of the hotel, especially the breakfast buffet dining restaurant. The staff was quite friendly and attentive. I saw the gym area and pool and looked like we were definetly be back next time to try that out. Staff is very helpful and friendly. All my requests were perfectly taken care of. Rooms are large and are well equipped. I will certainly come back to this hotel.

  We had a really nice and comfortable stay at the Holiday Inn. The room was big enough for the 3 of us, food was delicious and the staff from the whole complex, even from Conrad, Sheraton and shopping mall were very friendly and helpful.We travelled with our almost 3 years old son and the atmosphere there was very child friendly. This is a truly upscale and nice place, no worse than all the other 5-star hotels (Venetian, Conrad, Hard Rock, ...) around it. The only thing about this hotel you can associate with Holiday Inn is its pricing. The hotel actually prices itself quite a bit lower than its neighbors there. Gym and spa facilities are very nice.   We got a suite instead of a standard room! It is a great quiet hotel not so far from the historic centre (and they have shuttle buses, so there's no problem getting to the terminal/airport). Great views, nice rooms. - Price is affordable. Location is really good. We enjoyed the beautiful scene of Macau Tower and sea.

There was a very old, small chapel at the foot of the lighthouse. We also had a good walk to the city center from our hotel.
