Was die Leute sagen
The hotel is close to the Tokyo Metro Ginza line and jr station, so
access to the city is easy, also quite close to the Ueno park and
Akihabara. For both no need to transfer. The hotel room was small but
still ok for Tokyo standard, Toilets for women on first floor separate
for man on the second and on the 3rd mixed toilets, that where
apparently used just by one person..me. There is enough washing basins
and coin laundry, also there was newer problem with showers being to
busy. In short, I pai. alle bewertungen »
Staffs are very nice, flexible people who love their jobs !! They will help you anywhere as they can !!!
Maybe only me but letsbookhotel.com should let Hotels to answer also not just guests (it can become whisper style in some places later between guests) and Hotels usually solve problems or about to solve misunderstandings...
And basics about Hotels, countries manner for example: tip is expected or don't do it (I still don't know), zone-time jet-lag help to reduce 'noisy hotel' critics, etc.
Hotel owner is really nice and friendly. Able to talk english, Japaness, and Chiness language. Gave me alot travelling suggestion. Only 5 mints walk to Station. Hotel owner even helps me to carry my heavy baggage to Taxi while I'm Leaving. Cheapest price at Tokyo City area. Also Hotel WI-Fi is really useful for traveller.
Also there is Japan Style room and Europe room for sellection. I booked a Japan Style room but I don't like it, the Hotel Owner change it to a Europe style Room for me by fre.
Friendly, down-to-earth, attentive staff. Low, low price. Comfy futon. Strong, free wi-fi. Convenient location. Everything you need and nothing you don't, the ultimate no-frills place to lay your head. Probably the best deal to be found in Tokyo. Again, the staff was great- truly helpful and friendly!.
Very cheap hostel as for Tokyo, rooms are small but it's enough for
a couple of days if you don't feel like sharing your room with a
bunch of people. Showers were shared, but always very clean. Staff
speaks perfect English. The location is ok too, just a few mins from the
train and metro station.
If you are just a traveler who only looks for a bed and doesn't want to share room with others, it's the perfect place.
Toilets and bathrooms are shared but I don't think it is bad since they are well-maintained. Just imagine your campus life.
Single room for twenty euro in Tokyo - great price. Near to a couple of conveniece stores. Good wifi. Although it's old and begging for redecoration, the staff keep the place spotlessly clean. For me it was a home from home.
Great, helpful and cheerful staff, speaking English perfectly
Traditional, modest rooms
Free tea
Broadband Wi-fi
Good location (~10 min on foot from Subway, 25 min from Asakusa)
Bike rental on place.
The staff is very helpful & speak excellent English. the room & show room are very clean as well. Besides, the price is quite cheap, especially in a expensive city, Tokyo.
nice and helpful staff, free maps and guidebooks, free cold/hot water and green tee, free shampoo and body wash, TV in every room.
The price is very reasonable and the owner were very helpful in providing information, and they talk in English fluently.
- we got lost from the first we arrived by JR train and have to walk in the other way
but its really great experience.
All the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nice location near the Minami-Senju station (5 min. walking).
Cheap room and friendly staff
Perfect for backpacker who want a place to sleep
Close from Asakusa shrime.
the shower is amazing good an big, even if there are just two, i never found waiting line by night.
One of the cheapest hotels in Tokyo. Near to the underground. Friendly stuff.
Everything. Comfortability, price, location, staff.
I liked the location, the price, and the staff.
Value for money
Friendly atmosphere
Location.
great staff , location, and price.
I like friendly staffs.
Staff.
The price is the best part of this hotel. It was like an old student accommodation transformed into a hotel. Close to two metro stations, 5 minutes to one (minami senju)and 10 to the other. It takes 20-30 minutes from them to get to the center.
Facilities were also clean and well keeped.
I would recommend it if you want to stay cheap in Tokyo.
I liked the balance between price and service as well as the clean showers. Private rooms were spacious and clean.
Hotel staff was excellent and very nice to deal with. Best staff that I've ever seen so far in backpackers' hostels.
Rooms have AC and they are cooled way enough.
The room was a small double, a little cramped however still great value
for what we got.
The staff, especially the main guy Bobby, were amazing. So so helpful and full of information too. Made our stay a good one.
Friendly staff, they let me check in quite earlier than 12:00. I had a little problem in my room and they changed it in a few minutes. Definitely a good service.
Cheap. Very cheap. Location not terrible but bordering on the slum side. Service was great. The building hasn't been painted in 40 years.
Great price for a private single room and only a relatively short walk from both a JR rail line and subway station at Minami-senju.
The price is so reasonable. The staff can speak very good English and they are so kind.
free green tea, helpful personnel.
Good, but outdated, map.
Close to metro Station.
Nice staff.
The staff were very friendly. The owners were able to speak in Japanese, English and Chinese. They even waited for us 1 hour after the check-in time due to our late flight and also trusted us to leave the key at their desk when we checked out very early in the morning.
The receptionist was very nice and spoke fluent English which is great
for Japan. Also, the wifi worked great on all the floors. It is also
nice to experience the traditional Japanese style rooms. They offered
single rooms which was nice in terms of privacy.
Staff speak perfect English and they were very helpful and nice.
friendly staff.2 stations to ueno.
It was free on last minute.
Staff speaks good English. Location is not far from JR station, but too many turns and confuse the first time traveler to this hotel.
Could have been a bit cleaner.
It's difficult to have negative critics in a constructive way for that money.
Room is small, but for single backpacker is ok.For Couple maybe not enough.
Bed Sheet is white and clean, but quilt cover is not white color, hard to say quilt cover is clean or not.
Facilities are old and rather dingy, though they are updating- shared showers are brand-new.
It's quite old and not very pretty, but anyway for this price I
didn't expect anything nicer.
Bed was a bit too hard. Small rooms, but hey for 20 quid, whos' complaining.
3rd floor co-ed toilet was a bit dirty and smelly, cigarette smell, only 2 showers, ladies toilet only on the 1st floor.
A little bit old
You can not chat after 22:00 (extrange for a backpackers hostel :) ).
Last train at midnight
A little bit far from the center.
Little old.
lack of towels for washing.
I did not like the very small size of the room. I also didn't like the futon bed.
It's little bit noisy.
No detail direction, hard to find for the first time.
The female toilets were only in the ground flour (we were in the first flour).
Only 2 showers for the whole hotel, although we never waited more than 10 minutes.
A bit shocking but you get used to, we stayed for 5 days .
The general aspect of my room was pretty nasty: scratches and strange stains were present all over my room ( some looked really nasty!). Hotel's rooms and restrooms need a nice layer of paint.
The room was a little cramped.
To be honest, it is not a "great" hotel where to stay if you have some money to spend. It is old and seems to be dirty. I say "seems" because actually the rooms and the common showers are clean, albeit incredibly small.
While the tiny rooms weren't an issue, sound carried through the walls and neighbors could be heard late at night. Within a more rundown area of Tokyo.
The location is far from downtown and it is a little difficult to get to the hotel from subway station. The room is very small and the public bath room is cold.
lounge, remote controll of air condition not in room but at the reception for whole floor.
Looks like an old prison: small window on the upper part of the door, a
hole in the bottom. A lot of dust on shelves.Only 3 showers for huge
amount of rooms.
The air conditionner is very cool and cannot be tuned separately in each room.
The room was smaller than expected. Just enough for two people to lie side by side and some space for our luggage. The female toilet was only on the first floor and we were on the second so that was a tad inconvenient.
The hotel is quite far from the tourist attractions. The hotel all in
all was not very clean, especially the bathrooms. The lobby and all the
facilities close up quite early relatively. If you are looking for a
budget hotel, it might be worthwhile to stay in a hostel instead.
Rooms were dirty and very uncomfortable, toilets were also very dirty.
Rooms look like jail cells, it was scary. They even had small windows on
the door covered by no smoking sign. We have traveled trough Japan but
this was the worst hotel that we have ever seen.
only 2 shower on the 1st floor i woke up at 5:30am wanted to be the 1st one but i had to wait for 20mins. room is small but but not that a problem for solo traveler but there is no fan so hot for day time.i also dont like toilet japanese old style not comfortable.
It was like a prison. Old, not maintained. Value for money - I spent few
night in a hotel 300m from New Koyo, for similar price, but having far
better conditions.
hotel interior need serious cleaning and maintenance. Cleanliness is bad if compared to other hotels (same price range) in Japan. Hotel room too small, but corridor very large. Does not have good utilization of space.
