  Hotel is about 7 minutes walking from Shinjuku Station and in front of Tochomae Subway Station. Most of the staff speak English. You can walk directly to Shin via a subway or take the street. It has many eating options within the hotel should you wish to stay in house. Rooms are small and typical Tokyo style but do the job. Foreigners info desk were really helpful in all matters.
