  A truly Japanese experience. We hand a japanese style room, with a picture postcard view of the lake and mount fuji in the distance. Upon arrival, we were served tea in our room. The large room was partitioned with a sliding japanese screen doors, dividing the bedroom and seating areas. Just what we all needed after a busy day sigh - spacious room with own terrace and bar makes me more relaxing while looking to the lake in front of me. during afternoon before dinner , walking in lake for about 5 mins walk from hotel is very convenient.and we try the japanese style room! was fantastic! should really try to first time in japan.they have also shuttle bus which u can ask to pick u up in nearest station.thier english is pretty understable so probably it will be good enough to zero percent japanese langauage.lots of near japanese

  Lovely place to stay to experience a traditional Japanese style hotel. Fantastic views of the lake from our room and of Mount Fuji from the roof garden. The lady who looked after us and served our meals in our room was very polite and helpful, even explaining how to wear the cotton kimono provided by the hotel. The staff called "maiyumi" was so helpful during our stay, being able to introduce the facilities and foods in simple English. The dinner and breakfast are excellent, location is good and they can arrange free transport between train station and hotel. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting the place.

  I stayed in two seperate rooms over two days on opposite sides of the hotel. The first had a wonderful view of Mt.   Location fantastic from kawaguchiko station. Centre spot of Mount Fuji. Staff spoke good english, pleasant and helped me with my lost ticket. Facilities are fanstastic, free wifi, internet, coffee, recreation area.. Hot running Onsen upstairs and clean toilet facilities. Overall my stay at kawaguchiko station and the views of mount fuji were the highlight of my trip to japan. - Location is great, very near the train station. I stayed in the Japanese- style room and it was good. The room is spacious for Japanese standards and the shared toilet was clean. The communal bathroom is clean and of good space too. Staff was very friendly. They let us keep our bag for 36 hours until we came back from a climb in the mountain and everything was safe there.

The - 5 course dinner to the room was an amazing experience. Our bedroom was facing mt. Fuji, even though it wasn't the most expensive option. We went for a Japanese style room, it was comfortable and relatively spacious. Onsen is facing lake Kawaguchi. It's well equipped and spotless. You get to wear Japanese dressing gowns, pyjamas and slippers. We asked for a converter, they didn't have it but they kindly lent us their own iphone5 charger.

They are serving delicious western style breakfast and there is a cozy and comfy sofa corner in the public area with Fuji-san view. One can use the onsen (japanese bath) privately as well. Retro bus stop is nearby and different museums (music, kimono and contemporary art) are few minutes away by feet. Great place to stay with wonderful hosts. Thank you Teppei, we will be back. - the owner was very enthousiastic and helpfull and made us feel at home. When we couldnt find the way he got in his car and showed us the right direction. The rooms are perfect and the view on Fuji was stunning. It was a shame that we didn't book our dinner at the weekend shuffle, it looked and smelled amazing and would definitely recommend to book this!
