  Owner of Villa Mainard was one of the nicest people we've ever met! Even with limited English, he was so helpful to us. Our apartment was beautiful, very spacious, and wonderful to stay in - we wish we could have stayed longer! When you go down stairs from the apartment there are a lot of restaurants for any taste plus the guy Julio who is meeting guests is better that any receptionist in any hotel. Basic refreshments for breakfast both in the kitchen in main building and in the corridor in the annexe which was convenient.

A short direct walk into the centre of Verona. - Excellent location, just 5 mins walk to centre of Verona. Lovely massive room and bathroom, furnished in rustic style. There is a separate sitting room for guests with TV, tea and coffee making facilities, water dispenser and beer, all free. The garden, where breakfast was served is lovely and breakfast was varied and a full buffet available. There is a separate door to access the rooms so you can come in late without disturbing the owner. Free wifi in rooms.
