Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.

It is situated in a historic building with nice spacious rooms and is very clean and tidy. Italian breakfast in the morning is quite enough to keep you going. We liked everything. The only issue might be for people who have a lot of luggage, while this hotel is not equipped by the elevator - but it was not an issue for us.
