  Hotel Victoria turned out to be a true 4-star hotel in a convenient location around the center of Trieste. The staff was most professional and attentive, not to mention fully fluent in English. The breakfast, although served in a buffet style, was lavish and tasteful like I never experienced at any other hotel. A major plus. Most enjoyable with adequate supplemental - We were travelling for our wedding anniversary and on arrival learned we had been upgraded to a suite - fantastic!! The staff were extremely helpful, directing us to parking (with a special hotel rate), recommending and booking a restaurant for our anniversary dinner (which was excellent) and even chilling a bottle of wine we'd brought with us. The room was amazing, clean and luxurious, and the breakfast was excellent. Highly, highly recommended.

  We liked everything about this hotel! What can we say? Very well situated, clean, cosy, friendly and helpful personnel.. You get a special price for the parking which is situated close to the hotel. We will definitely come back! - This is an exceedingly nice B&B in a prime location. Everything was new and well designed.

Trieste is a beautiful town and this is a beautiful place. The room I had was large, thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location was brilliant, the staff were lovely, breakfast was beautiful and featured local produce, there's a crazy lovely naughty puppy dog who was great, it's across the road from a lovely osteria called Marise (go!)... I would love to stay in this place forever. I wish all hotels were like this.

  The hosts were wonderful--very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Building and facilities were beautiful and charming. Room was basic but extremely clean and tastefully decorated. The included breakfast was fabulous. We also ate supper at the restaurant. The food was average but the service, price and convenience of it was exceptional. Would definitely stay there again - To say that the owners/operators of this hotel were kind, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, considerate, and a joy to be around would be an understatement. They were absolutely wonderful and went well out of their way to assure our time there surpassed all our expectations. I am in love with the Banne area, and the warm feelings come mostly from staying at this B&B.

On our first night we were late in arriving and needed to get to the yacht club quickly so a taxi ride put us back just 8 euros.
